Who will get the Mark of the Beast???

But, again, I ask, isn't this after the church has gone? (1 Thess. 4; John 14.3, etc.); we need to be looking to the Lord's coming for His church, and not to be worrying in case we supposedly will find it hard under the Beast.

A lot of people think that this will be the rfid chips that they have now. The same (or similar) to the ones they put under Pets skin for identification, and use in some credit cards now. I do not know how they will tie it to worshipping the Anti-Christ. It has to be totally voluntary, they can not force it upon you. But that is the gist of it. They are already talking about going cashless. Big coincidence there.

Voluntary is a relative term. Get the mark or loose your job, have no acess to your money, go to a death camp.
 
Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil...ring a bell? We trust in the Lord. He knows what He is doing don'tya think?
 
The mark will be more easily enforced on the populace than you think. How many people own a debit/credit card? How many people pay car insurance? Health insurance? How many people pay taxes?

All of these things were heavily opposed to one time. Many people claimed that they would "never" partake in such things. However; over time, these opinions change. Imagine the mark being introduced as "convenient." At that time, many will partake in receiving the mark, but many will not. The government(s) will inject it's use into society, brainwashing everyone into thinking that its perfectly fine. Then, out of no where, it will be a REQUIREMENT. Sure, you may see some resistance, but how much? When taxes are raised, do people put a stop to it? When the unconstitutional healthcare was passed, did people destroy it? NO WAY! People will complain and publicly gather to talk about it, but the government holds the final word. Isn't that scary? The government has so much power over us, we can't even protest things away anymore.

We will be living in a police state. Those who oppose the mark will be arrested. What happens if you get caught driving without car insurance? The police can arrest you for it in California! Imagine being sent to a prison, where there are only two options. Have your head taken off in the name of Christ (death as a Martyr), or reject him and take the mark. When your life is threatened, you would be surprised how many people will cave. The mark is something that will be brutally enforced. God help us if we live to see such times, it would be absolutely terrifying.
 
Yes, I'm sure the Amish won't get the mark of the beast.

Every one who has not the seal of God,shall receive,the mark!!!!
 
Revelation 13:16 "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:"

This is the "Mark of the beast" which is confusing to many today. This mark is in your hand, and in your forehead. Can a electronic chip be put in your hand, and forehead change your beliefs? I don't think so.
"In your hand" is an idiom that means to do Satan's work. You do the work of Satan [the Antichrist] when you bring others to him, or help in his system. This mark in the hand is speaking in a spiritual sense. "In the forehead" is referring to your mind [brain]. Being deceived by Satan in your mind is when you think he is the true Christ, and in ignorance you worship him. No computer chip will condemn you, for it is your faith that you will be judged by.

Could hands and forehead also represent what a person does, and thinks? They will work for and worship the beast.

In Daniel 3:18 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego said it this way: ". . be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up." There were consequence but God was with them in the fire and delivered them.

In Revelation 9:4 those with the seal of God in their foreheads (Thinking?) will not be harmed. (They believe in Christ?)

I must admit, this does make sense. But the literal translation speaks of an emblem though, (which isn't an implanted chip either, but suggests a tattoo). This is a confusing subject and not easily understood.

Since this is such an important life and death issue, I think I am not going to take any tattoo, or chip, and will stay focused on God and pray to not have and deception or delusion sent to me. If the Government wants people to take a tattoo or whatever, too close for comfort to a death sentence. I know little as a young Christian and unless things become well known and cut and dried I want to play it safe while continuing to study and seek God.

There are two groups of the 144,000 (which isn't a literal number). One group speaks of the tribes of Israel while the other are those redeemed from the earth....Gentiles. Together the two groups of 144,000 are The Two Witnesses.
 
Have you ever considered all are redeemed from the earth, since all men still die and Adam was told from dust you are to dust you shall return. That's dust of the earth, so to be redeemed from the earth could also mean to be bought back as in resurrected.

Not being able to work and not being able to buy, sell, or trade goods sounds literal to me. If everything in the bible is just symbolism then maybe you will like the work of secret society member Philo Judaeus.
