Even the Christian movies are not safe! They're written by new agers, and they add subtil differences to the stories.
I saw the recent Russell Crowe Noah movie a couple nights ago. In the past, Hollywood generally stays on target with the story line on movies like that but this was a terrible misrepresentation of a great story. I mean, seriously?....rock people?? Nothing subtle about the story differences in that movie. It's as if it was another take on a Fairy Tale as they often do but then again, I've noticed more and more these days, many view the Bible as just a myth....something that was unheard of, or unheard of to mention in public anyway 50 yrs ago.
I stopped watching TV 6 or 8 yrs ago, with the exception of one Football game a week during the season. Lost interest in the network shows and when I lost cable a year or two ago, I did set up an antenna for a few weeks but now that I got cable back, I don't bother. I use Hulu and Netflix streaming and get a couple DVD's per week but am still battling on what's ok and what isn't.
I tend to watch whatever I want (or more of what I maybe shouldn't) because my circumstances don't allow me to get out much and just fast forward a lot. And I'm fine about my situation but filling the time is something I'm still working on.
Of course I'm "still working" on a lot of things.
