so when did God give man this mythical free will thing. Can you provide scripture that supports this free will thing?
What evidence do you have its "mythical"?? You started on that premise.
He gave it when He made the First Two people.
Joshua 24:15

"But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”"

CHOOSE.
No where does it say God is "choosing for them". Why does the Bible say CHOOSE if free will is fake?? Either God wastes words or He lies in your worldview. The Bible debunks both those charges so you MUST conclude that free will is real.

How do YOU AS A PERSON go about yourself, assuming your just some dumb robot who merely follows its programming???? How does YOUR belief about freewill or lack thereof impact your interactions with other people??

Says nothing about a challenge being issued by anyone,

Satan hadn't said a word about Job first in this narrative, God did ! Who initiated the challenge regarding job in the narrative ? Job 2:1-3
God didn't summon any of them, presenting before God without asking is initiating a challenge against God.

His original purpose for mankind is to “multiply and subdue the earth” as his representatives, anything else is subject to that goal.

Thats False, God's original purpose for man is grounded in His Eternal Purpose centered in the Redemptive Purpose in Christ Jesus, everything was created for Him. Eph 3:9-11

9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 ;To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
Col 1:16-18

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 ;And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 ;And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Before the world was Created,God had already written names in the Lambs Book of life who would through His redemptive work, enjoy and inherit eternal life Matt 25:34

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

So all natural creation was subservient to this !

Go check out his first word to mankind in Gen. 1:28 and compare that to the great commission at the end of Matthew. "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done," that's the eternal purpose.
