We should study end times very carefully for a few reasons. The bible talks more about the end times than any other time period, the season seems to be here, and the Lord is coming any time now.

You would think nothing had changed in the last 2000yrs. The apostles also believed they were in the end times. Were the apostles wrong? Of course they were all Jewish, so what would they, as Jewish adherents to The Way, expect to end in time? I suspect they had a different understanding of end times than is common in the Church today.

There is MUCH confusion about how The Lord will return. But one fact always remains. He is coming Back in his time and this is such a broad and confusing subject with so many different views that I will leave Escotology to others, while I will keep declaring his Soverignty and Saving Grace until he does come get his people. I hope he hurrys..................................................

It seems like everyone has always been anxious for the Lord to return soon. We're admonished to live as so. This is one reason I can't understand why a lot people get down on the pre-tribbers as going to be deceived or something, if they're (we're, lol) looking for Him at any moment, how could we be caught in the dark? If He doesn't come during our fleshy lifetime, so what, we'll have a good report card. :)

Jesus says in matt 13 the tares are gathered first, pre tribbers claim the church is gathered first..why?

Jesus says false Christs come before His coming, pre tribbers make no warning against them but claim they'll fly away ...?

Jesus says His coming is after the tribulation pre tribbers claim Jesus is coming before the tribulation based on claiming paul says that when paul NEVER says Jesus coming is pre trib.

Matthew 24:4-5

If it was no big deal Jesus wouldn't have warned believers:

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:21-31

21-28 is the gathering of tares who don't listen:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

vs. 29-31 is for wheat who take heed and wait for Jesus to return after the tribulation like He said He would:

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mark 13:5-6

King James Version (KJV)

5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Mark 13:19-28

King James Version (KJV)

19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

Luke 21:8King James Version (KJV)

8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

paul also says the working of satan is before the Lord's coming parousia and our gathering, pre tribbers are calling the working of satan a coming of Jesus Christ
2 Thessalonians 2:1-5

King James Version (KJV)

2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

2 Thessalonians 2:8-9

King James Version (KJV)

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

what happens when the Lord returns after the trib to find those who fell away to the false Christs and satan:

Matthew 7:22-24

King James Version (KJV)

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Luke 13:23-30

23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Revelation 3:4-6

4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Matthew 22:8-14

King James Version (KJV)

8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Revelation 20:4-6

King James Version (KJV)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

if the timing of Christ's return doesn't matter why does Jesus Christ warn it does?

1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

There are special blessings if you read the book of Revelations.

Randy,I know what the bible says but tell me why men like adam Clarke, matthew henry, barnes, and also Justin martyr mentioned no such thing as a trib.

people do fall away. there aren't no false teachers on the air today? I mean like jack van impe, and others who date set?

I don't know those people. I read the scriptures to see for myself what is stated. As for falling away I ask this question "How can one have the Spirit of Christ in them and not know Jesus lives?" One who is born of God won't leave the faith because of differences in End times teachings. I do find in scripture a day of wrath from God against those who refuse to believe His message and refuse to repent of their sins. A great tribulation that comes upon the whole world. A date is not given for that appointed time. As I mentioned in elsewhere Rev 11 is a sign that can't be mistaken. At the very end Rev 16:15. 2nd coming of the Lord.

people do ask the dumbest questions and fear the things they hear and teach in eschatology.

the devil and the ac. if they kill us where do we go? heaven? if not where do we go If we die and if not whom will be on the earth? GOD will be with us in either place. nothing to fear at all.many people are ingnorant of the bible in the church today. otherwise these date setters wouldn't be so rich nor heeded.

I also should throw in the odd blessings chrisitans bless jews that deny Christ with on shabat. I have yet to understand that. calling a jew who denies the Lord a sinner isn't hatred but calling the truth and that is love.
