Bible Study Why Was Jesus Born As A Baby?

God will probably have a special place for you :hysterical

Who knows? After all even though I know and love Christ of course I believe that I will go to Heaven,.. but there's nothing in the rules that says He has to open the pearly gates for me so I might just be standing outside there causing mischief outside of Heaven instead of inside. Either way He's in big trouble hehe. :mischief

Turns out this question was brought up in Christmas Eve services last night and yeah the answer was basically what everybody else has been saying so far. God became an infant so He would fully be able to understand us and for a relationship with us. :)

Umm,..I do believe that the scripture that I just quoted points out that children didn't exist before them and Cain and Able were in fact the world's first children.
That passage makes it clear that Cain was the first child born to human parents. It doesn’t indicate at which level of human development, as we understand it, that Adam and Eve were when created. Theoretically Adam could have been the equivalent of a twelve year old for instance when created. Or twenty or forty. I don’t think scriptures clearly state that about them.

I really wouldn't go that far with any kind of certainty.
The names we are given are more titles than tags. IE. Adam was an Adam. Cain was an Adam of city life.
And as well in these sections of the scriptures the metaphoric language is even further confusing because of the poetic nature of the passages.
It's difficult to know with certainty all the nuances of what God did and didn't do or anyone else for that matter. We only know what we have been told which contains history but really isn't a history book.

True, but however, he makes a really good point.
