Wisconsin has the lowest heart disease

Yes!!!! That state that prides itself on beer, cheese, butter, and all that nasty saturated fat and cholesterol they tell you to avoid in favor of cardboard-tasting cereal and another day to run with a joggerholic.

But while joggers are dropping dead (probably from that low salt and low fat "healthy" diet) in droves, we have these Wisconsins supposedly eating and drinking something "bad" with actual taste and everyone wonders why there's no heart disease.

If anyone's been listening to me, "I told you so!"

Wisconsin Heart Disease Rate One of Lowest in U.S.

BTW, that's the very stuff that Denmark is now taxing because "it's bad for your heart"

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

You're welcome. I am always pleased to share some thoughts on foods that they tell you to avoid and your taste buds will thank you for allowing.

I imagine income and education levels probably play a role in this. The poorest states often have the highest levels of various ailments, including heart disease and (I think) some cancers. Also, age-related demographics play a role. If the average person is Wisconsin is, say, 35, they'll have a lower heart disease rate than...I dunno...Florida, or some of the other Southern states that are now booming retirement centers.

florida where the old come to die.

offended? far be it from the truth as in fact when its this time of year we see more ambulances on the road.

WHOHOO!! Tim-from-PA, finally another person who doesn't believe everything they hear. Another "critical thinker" I am just finding out all the lies and skewed statistic that the CDC are more unhealthy than eating a stick of butter!

There was a study conducted in Norway in the 1980s, and is to date the largest epidemiological study. The study followed 1.8 million people for 10 years those who had the longest life expectancy (79.7 years were those who were between 26 and 28 BMI. That was hard for me to picture so I took myself as an example. I was shocked at what I found was healthy for me. I am 5 foot 7 inches, the healthiest weight for me is between 166 and 179. That means I should wear a size 14-16 pants!

Looking at this theologically, we all have sinned, and the price of that is death which leads to disease, but the Creator left us with the types of foods we are to eat (i.e. the natural ones) and gave us the smarts to discover the basic constituents of nutrition so that by obedience to His natural laws will extend our lives longer just as obedience to His Law will allow us to live spiritually. Christ took the penalty for where we all fall short, but we still have to follow righteous principles to positive outcomes.

The medical and pharmaceutical world do not believe in such laws, and as such not even in God for that matter, and they think man-made and processed "improvements" are superior to what nature gave to us, and to prove it not by evidence, but by tricking us into believing it or if need be, use the legal system to cram it down our throats to demonstrate "they are right" (if it was so good, why would that even have to be done to convince anyone?)

If anyone here notices, both nutrition and medications have become very highly political, and I would say that the medical world is not a side-player, but a MAIN player in everything economic and political worldwide. After all, people do get ill, and if the beast can take over medicine the way he takes over religion, politics, and financial institutions, then they have total control.

I especially get weary of some "Christians" who would nit-pick my doctrine (as my doctrines are not mainline, either) but while what I believe is declared as an anathema from Satan himself, the same would not hesitate to complain and moan of their many illnesses and trips to doctors that have a snake for their logo. And the real kicker is while Christians denounce evolution, they don't hesitate to believe the same doctors and medical world for other things. That I suppose is OK. Meanwhile, atheists poke fun on Christian forums and see what an ineffectual God they have and the number one question I swear is regarding healing.

I cannot understand how a so-called Christian person cannot stand back and take a look at themselves and how remarkably stupid it all looks. People are victims of traditions of men. OK, I got that rant off my chest.
