Wrong on that one.The Apostles were Christians and cultural Jews, not religious Jews, were they not?

So, when I don't ask a question, you tell me to ask a question. When I ask a question, you only tell me to "think about it."Think about it.
How so?Wrong on that one.
It is readily apparent to anyone. So an answer from me would just cloud the matter. So, when I don't ask a question, you tell me to ask a question. When I ask a question, you only tell me to "think about it."
Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. He did not come to start a new religion but to fulfil the promises of Abraham's faith. How so?
Then that's all you'll get from me.It is readily apparent to anyone. So an answer from me would just cloud the matter.
Unless Jews believe in justification by grace alone, on the basis of Christ's death and resurrection alone, through faith alone, then they are separate faith.Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. He did not come to start a new religion but to fulfil the promises of Abraham's faith.
We are grafted into the Jewish nation not a separate faith.
Possibly you should reread some of Acts as that book shows how we are grafted in to the Jews... they are not grafted into Christianity. Then that's all you'll get from me.

Never said we weren't, never said they were.Possibly you should reread some of Acts as that book shows how we are grafted in to the Jews... they are not grafted into Christianity.
Reading the book with that in mind gives a unique perspective on the story of the NT.
But you said they were a separate faith.Never said we weren't, never said they were.
Quite the opposite. They would be examples par excellence.
I should add that that doesn't mean they would be perfect, unlike Jesus.
It is.But you said they were a separate faith.
They are. Please keep your arguments cohesive.
And, when they reject Jesus as the Messiah, they cease to be the same faith. We and they are asked to accept a Jewish Messiah... They are NOT asked to accept a Christian God.
Except this conversation is now about the Apostles... not Christ.I think you're right. The Lord always seems to say things just the right way. I knew I was being facetious but you do make a good point that I hadn't considered yet. But Jesus speaks the same way in real life that He does in scripture.
He may cause me to feel conviction about something but He never speaks with condemnation. That is another way to be sure if God is really speaking to you. If you're feeling convicted then it's the Lord but if you're feeling condemned, then those are lies.
You're right, He would not get banned.
Incorrect. IMO.It is.
They are.
And, when they reject Jesus as the Messiah, they cease to be the same faith.

Did the Pharisees try to censor or cancel the Apostles... not to mention Christ Himself?
So Jesus and the 12 would be censored today if the pattern remains the same.I see that now. They did. They'd jail one of them and God would let him out, lol. They couldn't break out of jail npwadays and go to the church to preach though cuz the swat team would invade the church because they broke out of jail on a jaywalking charge to haul them back in.
So Jesus and the 12 would be censored today if the pattern remains the same.
Brood of vipers... White washed tombs... Your father is the Devil. They probably would not be able to censor them. The Apostles have been with Jesus for about 2000 years now so if they came down a posting and a preaching I expect they would be given what to say and the way the Lord speaks it is very nonconfrontational way that does not elicit bad emotions. I bet they speak just like the Lord by now!
They killed him!you're right, he would not get banned.
The main problem is that Jesus was sinless and perfect in his judgements of others. That is not you nor anyone else on any forum anywhere. We all see as "in a mirror dimly." Believers are commanded to love our enemies, to treat others how we want to be treated, to be respectful, loving, kind, and humble.
1Co 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant
1Co 13:5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; (ESV)
They killed him!
.
I would think that killing someone is the ultimate form of banning them.Yes they did. But, Jesus came to the earth as a man for a reason, to pay the price for mankind.
But the way the question was worded, would He get kicked off a forum. This is 2K years after they killed Him and that mission is over and so has the mission parameters. Man hasn't changed much so you would tink the answer would be heck yes they give Him the boot, but a good point was made that agrees with what the Lord has been teaching me about Himself.
He could talk those people right out of banning Him. He'd cause them to reflect upon themselves so nowadays I don't think He would let them ban Him. Thus setting a good example for us.
