Technology is neither good nor bad in and of itself. The Internet is used both to spread the Gospel and to distribute pornography. It can be used both for good and evil and so can RFIDs and other similar technology.

The Bible says clearly that the mark of the beast will be put on people's right hands or foreheads. If someone wants to put some kind of mark on my right hand or forehead, I'll refuse, but if they want to put it on my left hand or somewhere else, then it would depend on what it was for. I would not be against having such a chip if I thought the purpose was good and it wasn't in those places the Bible mentions.

you do realise that rfi only have a range of a few meters at most. my dog is chipped and that is to track her, if she is found the humane society having a reader will then know where to find her home and contact us.

And I think the idea is that the government will have sensor stations on every block so that data goes into the local station then the info gets sent into the town database then the state database then to a national computer database so effectively one guy can track anyone anywhere who has chip.

300ft comparing to 80 miles(i think) from an orbiting satelite is quite a feat.

and in a crowded city that will be almost impossible as person would be so close to each other that the satellite cant tell the difference. and no infrared doesnt see through walls with that amount of great details.

Why does a satellite have to be involved?

You can have tag reader stations dotted all over the city so when people walk by their tag gets read and the info sent into the mainframe.

They just need a station every 300ft. It's quite simple.

money and power, think about it one mile just to read a rfid you would almost 20 of those, and thats alot. light poles are closer then that. and i dont think putting them on power lines poles is feasable as the lines themselves generate rfi(emf) and will cause problems.
