Ive been thinking ...

If the govt or a company were to offer a chip of some kind to be implanted - the US population as a whole would revolt against such an idea because its been drilled into every citizens (not just christians) head that the chip implant is evil - so I dont think that the AC is going to use such obvious tactic to get people to accept his mark.

Even I , as a Muslim, wouldnt get an implant and I dont even believe in the "mark of the beast" as you guys understand it. I wouldnt get for many of the same reasons Doc sarcasticly aproves of it. I even disabled the GPS device on my Truck (it was pretty tricky, there are 22 posible locations for it) and I completely disabled all the OnStar stuff. The mans not gonna track me.

The bible says that the Mark will be taken after the beast is established in Power and the majority of the people believe He is God on earth and worship His image. In this environment anything he says would get immediate acceptance from the people.

As for the USA it could well be that it will no longer exists when the beast takes full power. The USA at this time might be a smouldering, irradiated, corpse littered wreck. So most of the people brought up to distrust the implant may be dealt with even before the implant comes up.
