I agree, we can't get accurate numbers without using percentages. So if we look at divorce rates this way, we can see that 50% of them end, here's a table showing divorce rates from 1950-2004:

I cant help but wonder how the control of our congress looks compared to this chart?

A spin-off from another thread, a comment was made by me that this time period is much worse than it was a few or several decades ago as far as values and morals, temptations of sexual immorality, etc.
How about you? Are times better today than they were in the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's than in the 21st century? Please share your thoughts!

Well the world is older then it has ever been and things are closer now to the end then it has ever been before.
I agree with what Rollo was saying as well and then some.
From what I am seeing and reading and hearing the devil our enemy is fighting harder then ever before as his time gets squeezed down and smaller then it has ever been before. I beleive he is feeling the pressure brother and is fighting mad and SCARED.

He has got to gain control over as many things of this world like never before. I truly believe we will see things like nothing at all has ever played out in this world and never will again. Look around at all this loosed evil in this day and age and the loss of respect by our youth (unsaved) these days. People are taking the rights away from those in authority and feeling sorry for the corrupt.

Our Goverment was founded on the principles of the word of God...How much of this do you see in our goverment these days? This is the time for a believer to stand up and totaly rely on the word of God for everything in all ways and always. Psalm 91 should be a regular house hold daily conversation brother. I truly believe you will begin to find two types of Christian categories in the near days to come. Those who truly draw near to God and live by a faith so strong and pure in Him and move forward and take new ground and live a healthy prosperous life and those who are slothful, lazy with the word of God and will struggle as much as the rest of the world does and it will be hard times for them.....Now that is what I have come to believe from hearing and reading and praying......

Time will tell huh...

The last part your wrote about how those who draw close to God, these will be able to live in power and walk a Jesus did all awhile chaos is going on all around - grace. I like how you said "taking new ground" because this whole time the evil one has been taking his ground, so we need to take it back.

I think that Gary's video showed where the evil one has been taking ground, and as you have mentioned with the youth today, there is a lot of disrespect, there is many who are already addicted to porn, and just entitled. The youth is being attacked more than every, imo, by satan, there are so many other areas to place our focus, we are over stimulated so it's very difficult to focus on God because it requires an attention span that doesn't require technology, if you know what I mean.

Schools (and colleges) are way too liberal, we had a girl in high school that was transgender and she was made a hero at our commencement speech at graduation. Never mind all the contributions our class did for our community, all the students who went on mission trips to SA and Mexico, these were not mentioned, but this she/he was given special honor for "coming out and being who she/he was supposed to be".

This is just one example of how public education corrupts minds and sets the students on a worldly pursuit.

Jesse you siad it brother....A friend of mine showed me some video's taken inside several court rooms...These were legit tapes too. Young kids and collage age kids had NO respect for the judges. I mean they were facing some big chages and would smart off in such a fould and put down kind of way all the time trying to be sexy and cute and all hard and stuff. You should have seen some of these judges reactions......Wow like how dumb can you get. I have seen grade school and middle school kids pull guns on people. A friend and I were trying to get sometihng out of a dumpster in her apartment complex and two young kids ( big for size) small in age threw a couple of hand sized rocks at us and miss our heads. I mean it dented the dumpster.

They then got all cocky and mouthy and after a while I simply grew tired of it and said I was just going to call security....Big surprise....they showed us what they thought of security and it was x rated....
