Not to change the topic presently being discussed but I wanted to post a little info on the two "Books of Life."

BOOK OF LIFE: Revelation 3:5 "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."

These are the people who have answered the call of the Gospel and have put their trust for Salvation in Jesus Christ. Notice that it says "I will not blot out his name." This suggests that some will have their names blotted out. There are two types of believers. There are true believers who will overcome all the trials and tests that come their way here on earth. Their name when it comes to the judgment, will stay in the "book of life".

There are people who answer the call to the Gospel who make a profession, but are not for real because their works stand against them, and at the judgment, their names are blotted out.

Now, some of you are not going to like this next doctrine of mine.
LAMBS BOOK OF LIFE: Revelation 21:27 "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." The believers that have their names in this book are the "elect" of God. That remnant of true believers who were called to be true Christians before the foundations of the world. Ephesians 1:4 "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love." Because God chose these people who make up God's remnant, the elect, none of them will be lost and that's why there is no mention of blotting out names.

I do not have a problem with your interpretation. That is your choice.Isn't that all about a healthy debate?Your interpretation is different than mine but we see that all the time here.

Agreed.

For a true believer, believes unto the end.

We will see who is a true believer and who is not, on the day of judgement.

True believers will hear these words spoken directly to them.

Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:34

Those that thought they were believers, but were not, will hear these words spoken directly to them -

Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:41

Both groups were called "Servants".

Notice that Jesus had just finished teaching His Disciples the parable of the talents -

The parable is about the kings servants.

30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' 31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:30-34

It is interesting when you actually read what Jesus said to these two groups.

41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' 44 Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' Matthew 25:41-44

'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'

OSAS folks mistakenly think these on His left hand were classified as the world, those whom rejected Him and were never His servants.

Chopper, I love you brother, but this is very egotistical of you, interpreting Revelation 21:27 that way, and then think that you are one of them.
Don't forget, it is our egos that got us into trouble to begin with.

Absolutely Kathi. I always like reading different teachings because it either reinforces my thoughts or not. Either way, it gets me into Scripture of which is my passion.

The presumption that is continually put in play is that it is the person who is The Savior.

You may just as well cut to the chase and insert the fact that in the presentation it is only The Savior who then saves for awhile and The Savior vacillates.

It's a similar terminology juggling act where people claim Jesus never left us, but He leaves us because we (insert whatever manipulation it takes the believer to force The Savior to leave us), and think their verbal pyrotechnic gymnastics make sense.
Bingo! :clap

Wow, that's quite an accusation Brother, I don't see anywhere in my post where I included my self in either group. I love you too Rollo and thank you, I'll remember your warning and take it to heart.

I don't know how you respond to you, if you can't see the words babes (and Paul specifically called them carnal and not spiritual), and the words children, young men and fathers (adults) from reading the text I've quoted, then there is a more serious problem than semantics.

"Israel will receive their adoption at Christ second coming through the millennium."

"How can a naturally born son of his father's seman be adopted?" That's just weird!

Since when does regrafted mean adoption, in fact the very term speaks of being put back in it's naturally place.

As for the devils authority and power being gifts, my Bible says he was created with them, Ez 28:13

...you won't gain much respect here by just voicing your opinions, you notice we give Scriptural reference, even if some are taken out of context, to authenticate what we believe, or if it's just our opinion we say, I personally believe, that way it doesn't come across as a, ...thus saith the Lord.
As a child, a father put his son under tutors and governors, then at an certain age, say 12 yrs of age, the father adopts his own child, removing him from the tutors and governors, and then takes him under his wing teaching him about his business. His now, adopted son will learn to act like his father, think like his father and labour with his father in his business. <---This is biblical adoption. Adoption in this time is not the same as we see adoption today. Jesus Christ who was God in the flesh, was adopted by the Father at age of 12. Jesus Christ had to learn, he did not come into this world knowing everything that he needed to know.

The adoption that we receive today(Roms 8), pertaineth to Israel.(Roms 9:4) They receive their adoption at Christ second coming.

I care nothing about gaining respect, only teaching truths and I provide much scripture references.

Semantics.
.
Nope. Let's use the correct term. There is no such thing as a false believer. One either believes or not. One who is trying to infiltrate the ranks of believers to spy them out are false brethren, pretending to be true brethren.

Please show me the The Savior in these verse that I quoted.

My bible says the Sower sowed the seed, and let the seed fall where it may.

if believe = saved

believe for a while = saved for a while.

believe for awhile = saved for a while

Believe for a while does not = never saved

Unless you can show from the scriptures in context with this teaching from Jesus Christ, that those who believe for a while were never saved, then you have just your opinion.

Believe for a while = saved for a while.

So you do reckon yourself to sin. After being born-again you never sinned once?
I've never said that, I don't live my life sulking on sin. I don't live my life trying to restrain sin by my power. To do this would be walking after flesh. Have I failed? Sure I have. But I have been made perfect in Christ Jesus, with all sins forgiven and sin never being imputed to me, being made dead to sin and alive unto God, I am dead to the law. I restrain sin by the way God has made me by being baptized into Jesus Christ. The fact is, you and every believer have also been baptized into Jesus Christ and share the same.

If you are worried about sin, and trying to restrain sin by your power, you are minding the things of the flesh and walking after the flesh, but if you are restraining sin because you believe what God has said,( that you are dead to sin and alive unto God) then you are minding the things of the Spirit and walking after the Spirit.

Many Believers are under bondage because they are not taught these truths, but we are set at liberty from bondage and should walk in newness of life.

Yes, OSAS is the truth.

1 Peter 1:23;
"For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God".

When you are truly born again, this imperishable seed is in us forever.
You cannot walk away from the living presence of God within you.
You have believed in Jesus, Romans 6:23; and this is God's gift in return.

1 Peter builds up our faith in God to help us bear this life as a Christian.
Those who take it to heart are truly born again.

Chopper
When a persons sins, they are disciplined. When the don't sin, they aren't disciplined. Simple as that.

We are sanctified the moment we believe, (Roms 6-8). This process of maturing is called edification. We don't crucify ourselves. The holy Spirit baptized us into Jesus Christ, making us partakers of his death, burial, and resurrection. We are made dead to sin and alive unto God. Our old man was crucified through Jesus Christ and not by anything we do. The first few verses in Romans 6 is actually very great for eternal security, because all this was done when we put our faith in the FINISHED work of Christ. It is the faithfulness of Christ that saves us, not us....The moment we believed, we are risen with Christ and seated in heavenly places with him.
We are justified the moment we believe. Sanctification occurs the rest of our lives.
