My mistake, the CC did not, just one of your 'infallible' Popes.
YOU ARE BREAKING TOS RULES 1.1, 1.4, 1.5

There is nothing in any biblical scriptures anywhere that leads towards or directly says anything about Mary Magdaline being a prostitute.

Where that original belief come from who knows, maybe some false teacher with a heap of brainwashed indoctrinated followers that carried it on. But it's not anywhere in scripture I know that much.

I saw it in a movie.
People could get confused.
I always thought she was one too.

I don't know if the CC ever stated this.
The OP makes claims but never backs them up.
This is flaming and is meant to start trouble.
Your attitude, BTW, is very much appreciated.

Will try to find out if the CC ever taught this....
Unless Mungo or Walpole know the answer and can save me the work.

Did the CC ever teach that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute?

That's how easy fake news can spread and why Paul was stressing out as a original Apostle and a father of the Church how easy people in the early church were being mislead. It's over 2000 years later now and look at the state of all those who call themselves Church. God don't dwell in any building made by human hands.

You're right.
The early church had to fight many heresies.
Jesus kept His promise...
The gates of hell will not prevail.

To this very day.

There is some confusion over this.
But first it was never official Catholic teaching that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute.

Here is an answer from Catholic Answers:
"While we don’t know definitively, there is a longstanding tradition that Mary Magdalene was both Mary of Bethany and the woman (prostitute) who dried Jesus’ tears. And while Pope St. Gregory, who served from A.D. 590 to A.D. 604, certainly advanced this tradition, it preceded him." LINK

It then gives a link that goes into this in more detail.
In brief, it seems that scripture indicates from the wording that the woman who anointed Jesus and washed his feet with her tears in Luke 7:36-50 was a prostitute. Since Mary of Bethany did something similar (John 12:1-3), some conflated her with the woman in Luke 7. Also since Mary Magdalene had 7 devils driven out (Luke 8:2) all three were assumed to be the same person.

Some say Pope Gregory suggested this in a sermon (not some official pronouncement) but I read somewhere that what he actually said was misconstrued.

So - lots of confusion.

Paul is the head Pastor of the church and it was him who breathed the gospel of Christ to the churches of the world, and he tried to hold the Church up with his original true doctrine that is the scriptures. And it's amazing because in the scripure itself it shows the Church was already corrupted in the 1st century and Paul was already stressing out his doctrine had been corrupted because it's in his letters.

I belive Paul and I think it's just normal and human nature no matter what anyone says it gone be twisted and corrupted and people take advantage if it and all sort. But he done his job..
Paul was not the head Pastor of the Church - Peter was. But that is another topic.

They were both called to be Apostles and Leaders of the Chruch. Correct me if im wrong. Peter preach to the circumcised and Paul to the gentiles.

Too many Marys!

There is also confusion about which Mary washed Jesus' feet with her tears and used expensive perfume on Him.

There are two instances in the NT that speak about this and it's not certain if it's the same Mary or different ones.

As I had said, it's misrepresentation in movies.
For example.

And new scholars have new information so what a pope said does not really matter too much.

Even this Pope makes statements that need to be explained.
