That God keeps His elect in the faith is clearly stated in, and by, scripture, beyond all debate, and I made that evident to you. It is not opinion. That you cannot accept it, do not like it, or wish it were otherwise, doesn't make your belief correct nor make it my problem to convince you otherwise. My responsibility has been fulfilled. And I can't believe that you insist on continuing with this dialogue.

That is not what the Scriptures state:

2 Peter 1:5-7 (WEB) 5 Yes, and for this very cause adding {{{on your part}}} all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge; 6 and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control perseverance; and in perseverance godliness; 7 and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to not be idle or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brothers and sisters, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble. 11 For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the Eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

You got it backwards. That is not what "Hebrews 2:9-10" states; rather, you are reading into it what is not there.

We are sons of God by faith:

Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God, {{through faith}} in Christ Jesus.

These who believe, God calls them his sons. These are the sons whom Lord Jesus is bringing to glory.

We are not saved so we can believe. That is not the Gospel.

Rather,

Sinners are admonished and urged to believe, so they may be saved.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes [present and continuous believing] in him should not perish, but have eternal life [the new birth of the Spirit: John 3:8].

John 10:27-29 (EWEB) My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them {{eternal life}}, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father who has {{{given}}} them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

1 Corinthians 1:21 (EWEB) 21 For seeing that, in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn’t know God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
No I have it right, the Ones Christ tasted death for, it brings them to Glory Heb 2:9-10

9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory,
to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

You deny the saving efficacy of His death !

The ones Christ tasted death for shall be brought to Glory as a result of it.

Ignoring what the scripture actually says while replacing it with your own words s certainly a recipe for disaster.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Hebrews 2:9-10

Christ Jesus tasted death for everyone, for the whole world.

  • that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

  • in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Notice the scripture certainly doesn’t say… “the ones Christ tasted death for shall be brought to glory as a result of it”.

The scripture does indeed go into on to say….

For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end. Hebrews 3:14

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17

Christ tasted death for the world; for everyone in the world.

Those who believe will be saved.

Those who do not believe will not be saved.

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. John 3:36

No Scripture states man leads the Glorious Holy Spirit of the Living God - not even a single passage you presented says man leads God, so you conjured up a tradition of men leading to worship in vain (Matthew 15:9).

The Word of God says God causes us believers to believe in Jesus whom the has sent with "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent" (John 6:29), not man controlling faith/belief in a person, but in Truth (John 14:6) God controls faith/belief in the children of God!

Let you and I step through some of the verses you presented for you to contradict the Apostle Peter's words of "God, the souls of you having purified in the obedience to the truth through Spirit, into a sincere love of the brethren" (1 Peter 1:21-22).

The Spirit causes me to drink of the Spirit (John 7:37-39). You stopped prematurely at verse 38. Behold, the words of Christ saying the deed of coming to Christ is wrought in God as well as the deed of practicing obedience is wrought in God:
he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God
(John 3:21)

Your premise is non-sequitor.

The Spirit does dwell in us born of God purifying us even causing fruit of the Spirit (1 Peter 1:21-22; Galatians 2:22-23; Romans 8:11-13; Galatians 5:24-25).

Your writing is non-sequitor.

The Spirit of God is LIFE and ALIVE, so you are in error!

The Spirit causes us to walk in the Spirit (John 3:21; 1 Peter 1:21-22; Romans 8:3-4; Galatians 5:24-25).

Your writing is non-sequitor.

The Spirit causes us Christians to sow to the Spirit (John 3:21; 1 Peter 1:21-22; Galatians 5:22-23; Galatians 6:7-9).

Your writing is error.

The Christian is admonished to "drink," "live," "walk," and "sow" to the Spirit without giving up to receive eternal life from the Spirit.

Unfortunately for many Christians who refuse to drink, live, walk, and sow to the Spirit by their disobedience.

Not all Christians will remain in the faith and so will not continue to walk by the Spirit. Christians may not remain faithful, and so, they will:

  • Grieve (Ephesians 4:17-32; Isaiah 63:10);
  • Quench (1 Thessalonians 5:19);
  • Insult (Hebrews 10:24-31);
  • Resist (Act 7:51),
  • Reject (1 Thessalonians 4:1-8),
  • Lie to (Acts 5:3),
  • Test (Acts 5:9)
  • the Spirit of God indwelling them,
  • which can result in eternal punishment if he dies in unrepentance, turning away from serving the flesh to walking by the Spirit (Hebrews 10:24-30);
  • For the Spirit will only give eternal life to those Christians who continue to sow to the Spirit without giving up (Galatians 6:7-9).
Galatians 6:7-9 (EWEB) 7 Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap destruction. But he who sows to the Spirit will {{{from the Spirit}}} reap eternal life. 9 Let {{us}} not be weary in doing good, for {{we}} will reap in due season, {{if we}} do not give up.

  • The Spirit is not obligated to live by the Spirit to receive Life; rather,
  • The Christian is obligated to live by the Spirit to receive Life.

Romans 8:12-14 (ENIV) 12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, {{{we}}} have an obligation – but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. 14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

The Spirit does not drink, live, walk, and sow to the Spirit for us.

Therefore, the “Promise” and “Guarantee” of Eternal Life by the Spirit is only for those who persevere in the faith, manifested by walking in the Spirit, which is each Christian's responsibility - according to the Scriptures. Not all Christians will remain faithful, and so will quench and insult the Spirit dwelling in them.

Hebrews 4:1 (WEB) {{{Let us}}} fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into His Rest.

Hebrews 4:11 (EWEB) 11 {{{Let us}}} therefore give diligence to enter into that Rest, lest anyone fall after the {{same example of disobedience}}.

Hebrews 6:11-12 (EWEB) 11 We desire that {{{each one of you}}} may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end, 12 that you won’t be sluggish, but imitators of those who through {{{faith and perseverance}}} inherited the promises.

All whom Christ died for, tasted death for, shall be brought, led by Him to Glory, He is their Captain and is responsible for them getting there Heb 2:9-10

The Scriptures do not teach universal salvation for everyone. Lord Jesus died for the whole world (John 3:14-18), but only those who believe does God grant eternal life (John 3:14-18).

"Hebrews 2:9-10" does not state that every man is saved. Lord Jesus tasted death for every man, but only those who believe are sons of God - these are the ones brought to glory.

Hebrews 2:9-10 (WEB) 9 But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone. 10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

The grace of God is extended to all mankind, because Christ died for the whole world.

John 3:16 (WEB) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Christ tasted death for the whole world, but only those who believe are justified, and will access that Grace of God onto salvation:

Romans 5:1-2 (WEB) 1 Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; 2 through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand.

The sons brought to glory are those who believe. The "sons of God" are those who believe.

JLB

No, YOU have it reversed. They ALREADY HAD eternal life: eternal life came first, belief from it. Do you see
the "HAVE everlasting life"? It is in the present tense, not in the future tense. If, as you say, faith was a prerequisite to everlasting life, then the 'everlasting life' would have to be in the future relative to "believes", but it isn't.
Also, the "be saved" is a rendering in the aorist tense, which also means not future. The key to it is that the
devil took the word from their hearts. The only way that doesn't happen if someone is first "given" by God to
know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but that is not given to all, only to some, so not all can know the mysteries of the kingdom, and therefore, can never have true knowledge nor faith.

[Luk 8:10 KJV] 10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

True belief is a biproduct of, and accompanies, being given eternal life, it doesn't cause it.
Your problem is that you just simply can't bring yourself to recognize/believe in Jesus Christ as Saviour, and being the Saviour, He alone must therefore do the saving (which you do not believe in, and which, is a very odd position for you to find yourself in, given you claim to be a Christian). Instead, you seek to raise yourself above Christ and to make of yourself your own saviour. Really astounding when you stop and think about it, isn't it?
God does it all, man contributes nothing.

These verses confirm that. Doesn't get any clearer. If you can't or you refuse to recognize it, then I don't know what else I can say.

[Act 13:48 KJV] 48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
(do you see the ordained to eternal life above? That means that because they had received eternal life, from that, their belief came: eternal life first, then belief: their belief was a demonstration of their having received eternal life. Had they not been so ordained, then they would not have been given eternal life and would/could not believe)

[Gal 3:8 KJV] 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, [saying], In thee shall all nations be blessed.

[Gal 5:22 KJV] 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
[1Pe 1:21 KJV] 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
[Gal 2:16 KJV] 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

[1Pe 1:3-5 KJV]
3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Notice Peter writes being begotten again [regeneration] unto a lively or living hope. This hope comes with Faith, so both hope and faith are the result of regeneration, which is the effect of Christs resurrection from the dead.

Now that same word hope is in Vs 21 of 1 Peter coupled with Faith

Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Notice again the mention of Christs resurrection. So Faith and Hope are the fruit and effect of Christs[taste of] death, and resurrection.

“All men,” means all men. Lord Jesus died for the world, but only those who believe are saved.

Titus 2:11 (WEB) 11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men

Lord Jesus died for all mankind, the whole world, according to the Gospel (John 3:16), and is repeated throughout the NT.

Even if many do not believe, Lord Jesus still came into the world to save the world.

John 12:47 (WEB) 47 If anyone listens to my sayings, and doesn’t believe, I don’t judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

John 12:32 (WEB) 32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.

God does not discriminate, and he does not show favoritism in his offer of salvation.

Acts 10:34-35 (WEB) 34 Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; 35 but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.

Acts 17:30 (WEB) 30 But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent

Romans 2:10-11
(WEB) 10 But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who does good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God.

Acts 13:47 (WEB) 47 For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, ‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’” [Isaiah 49:6]

The sons brought to glory are those who believe. The "sons of God" are those who believe.

Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God, {{{through faith}}} in Christ Jesus.

How is it disrespectful? And even if something was to be disrespectful, does that make it untrue? And honestly that argument doesn’t logically work, because anyone could say that believing God determines people to murder people is disrespectful. It’s merely an opinion that then has to be based on facts.

All men means all men that Christ brings to Glory Heb 2:9-10

How is it disrespectful? And even if something was to be disrespectful, does that make it untrue? And honestly that argument doesn’t logically work, because anyone could say that believing God determines people to murder people is disrespectful. It’s merely an opinion that then has to be based on facts.
Its disrespectful because it says some will be lost in their sins even though Christ died for them and is responsible to bring every last one of them to Glory. Heb 2:9-10 Jn 6:39

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Lord Jesus addresses your opinion that it is disrespectful to say some will be lost in their sin, even though Christ died for them.
