TULIP - Irresistible Grace

Then thats an attack on Gods Sovereignty as I see it, and elevating the creatures will over Gods. Its being claimed a little girl is the decision maker on whether or not God shall carry out His Divine purposes.
So you believe God is capable of rape?

Your God is my devil.

Study the T in the acronym Tulip about Total depravity, you wanna a link ?

No I actual want you to explain what total depravity means.

I have looked at what some people say about this and have found several different explanations.

So now, I’m asking you what Toal Depravity means.

If you don’t know what it means then just say so.

Where does it say all men are not totally depraved ?
what does totally depraved mean?

i would suppose it means we are devoid of grace and union with God.

i would say it is the state of fallen man from the sin of adam and that this condition was remedied at the cross with the bloody death of Christ.

for all those who received grace from God before the death of Christ, they received it in virtue of the future merits of Christ, all things are possible with God! Lk 1:37

and especially the grace of the Immaculate Conception of Mary that made Her worthy to receive "our salvation"! Lk 1:49 titus 2:11
thks

Study the T in Tulip from more able men than myself, and I have talked about it for years here. You reject a Gospel Doctrine, thats all to it

BF,,,,I'm not having the same discussion with you that you're having with JLB.

Total Depravity has nothing to do with man's depravity.

THIS is what is concerns:

1. Man is born so depraved that he is UNABLE TO HELP HIMSELF.
2. Thus God has to do all biddings for man...be it in their every day life and be it in their salvation.
3. This removes free will from mankind.
4. Since mankind has no free will .... man is UNABLE TO SEEK GOD.

Now,,,do you wish to discuss TOTAL DEPRAVITY?

Fine.

Now show me with scripture how man is UNABLE TO SEEK GOD.

It appears you are unable to offer a refutation.

I'll take your refusal to offer an explanation as your de facto concession that your God of Calvinism did indeed rape Mary.
Correct.
The other member parrots what he writes unless it's a copy and paste.
He is unable to speak, in his own words, what it is he seems to believe.
But we know for sure that it's the reformed faith.

Where is the phrase in the bible that states man is able to seek God
So please that you asked BF.

Both the OT and the NT teach that man is able to seek God.
As you can see, Reformed/Calvinist theology has once again
cause conflict within scripture.
Since we know that scripture cannot conflict with itself...
surely your theology might be mistaken.....

The poster refuses to engage. I guess he either is incapable or has not thought about the implications of his theology, which renders God a rapist if Mary did not give her consent.
