Hello everyone, my name is Beverlyne. I’m new here and happy to meet you all☺️. I was referred by a friend who told me more about you and said you’re like family, because she found help and support here. I look forward to growing spiritually with you.

I’m in a difficult season my grandmother, who has been like a mother, father, and grandmother to me, is unwell. She’s the one who has supported me, and now I’m starting school soon as from 18th this month but facing financial struggles. I feel so helpless seeing her sick and not being able to do much. Lately, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and like I’m losing myself, so I’m also in need of emotional and mental support. I would really appreciate having someone to talk to during this time.

Please keep us in your prayers for healing, provision, strength, and peace🙏. Thank you and God bless

Hi beverlyne and welcome to CFnet.

A friend of my daughter's suffered from fibromyalgia and that brought her a lot of pain much of the time. Even in her young teenage years she was an inspiration in how she always found a way to stay upbeat and not let it get her down. She found strength from Philippians 4:11-13, particularly landing on verse 13, which she quoted often.

I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (NKJV)

I hope and pray that her strength and hope can give you strength and comfort as well. I'll leave you with a quote from Romans 8:28 ESV. Always remain vigilant. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful and encouraging message. Philippians 4:11-13 has always been a powerful reminder that no matter what challenges we face, we can find strength in Christ. Your friend’s example of staying upbeat despite her pain is truly inspiring.

I really appreciate your prayers and the reminder from Romans 8:28 it brings comfort knowing that God is working all things for good in His perfect timing. I will hold onto this hope and strength as I navigate through my own struggles.

Thank you again for your kindness and encouragement. It means a lot to me.

Hi beverlyne and welcome to CF :wave2

Prayer support works miracles in others lives and even now I'm healing from some vascular surgery I had done last week and know how the power of prayer brings about God's favor in another's life as we trust Him for our needs.

Lord Jesus we lift up beverlyne and her grandmother as you already know the needs they have and we know you will meet those needs as the both of them are your children Lord. We are praying and stand in agreement with that which has been asked for and we thank you in the name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you so much, for_his_glory, for your heartfelt prayers and encouragement. I truly appreciate you lifting both me and my grandmother up before the Lord. It means a lot to know that brothers and sisters in Christ are standing in agreement with me in prayer.

I also pray for your continued healing and complete recovery from your surgery. May the Lord strengthen you each day and fill you with peace and joy as you recover. 🙏💛

Romans 8:28 has become a verse that I can so relate to, but it wasn’t always. Looking back over the years has enabled me to see God working through some really dark and difficult times. Often as not when we are in those difficult moments all we can see is what we are facing, we can’t see how God is working things out, but one day it becomes visible.
Beverlyne , as an older person I have gone through many phases where I have felt lost. We go through many transitions in life where our identities are challenged. In many respects one identity remains constant, but often one we don’t always grasp. We are ‘ a child of God ‘ , that’s a solid truth. You are equally ‘ a daughter of the king ‘ -
No matter what we are facing , God has promised to never leave or forsake us - He is there in the midst of it all and understands everything , our thoughts, concerns, fears, grief ect ect
In my most difficult of times I have journaled, kind of like writing letters to the Lord from the heart. For me it was often the only way I could express what my heart felt, I loved writing, so for me it was and still is a life line.
I hope you find it helpful being here, I will add you and your situation to my prayer diary.
Sometimes in difficulties there is a need to connect with others who will have empathy and care about what you are sharing, we all need a voice and a listening ear xxxxx

Thank you so much for these encouraging words and for sharing your own experiences with me. Romans 8:28 truly speaks so deeply, and your reminder that I am a child of God means a lot. I’m touched that you would add me to your prayer diary—it gives me comfort to know someone is lifting me up before the Lord. I’ve been going through a lot lately, especially when I feel like my dream of finishing school is slipping away—it makes me feel less sometimes—but your words remind me God is still working. Journaling sounds like a beautiful way to pour out the heart to Him, and I think I will try that too. I’m really grateful for your kindness, understanding, and willingness to listen. God bless you abundantly. ❤️

Blessings in Christ, Beveryne! That was a nice thing for your friend to say, and I hope we live that out. It is a goal of ours at this site actually.

So glad you decided to join us, and if there is anything you need help with (finding an avatar, where to post threads, things like that), please just let us know. We will help you in any way we can.

Wonderful reading your posts! You seem to have a very loving spirit about you. :thm
Hidden In Him

And I will say some prayers for your grandmother. About the above, just give your dreams to God. It is something I have had to learn more recently. I'm the type who can make things happen, but I have had to learn to leave everything in God's hands if I would truly arrive at the place He wants me to get to. Maybe He has another plan - a better plan - or if things should be delayed for awhile, maybe He doesn't want you finishing right now. Maybe He has a greater plan for your life than you imagine, and will bring things together at the proper time. Just pray to Him to take care of you and let Him have the reins of your life. He ultimately wants to bless you, especially in eternity, so continue to just trust Him and let Him go to work on your behalf.

Blessings again, and so glad you joined!
