Using tobacco is slow suicide. Stay away from it.

I don't think people get addicted to cigars or pipes. I know it wasn't a struggle giving them up. I just stopped. No withdrawal symptoms, no cravings. I think it's the way cigarettes are inhaled that does the addiction. One of my sons started smoking cigarettes when he was in college, and it took him a long time to get clear of it.
Smoking build an addiction quickly. Some people are hooked after only one smoke. If people smoke in moderation they are walking on thin ice.
On the other thread, it was said by someone about liking the idea of trying something alcoholic.
Well, anyway, as regards smoking, my advice would be: Don't even try it! (You can easily get hooked!) Best to stay off it completely and not even try.
(Two cents'.)
Blessings.
I am allergic to smoking. But others tell me otherwise. As really my eyes get watery and my sinuses go up. Have an uncle who has smoked since he was a kid. And an aunt as well. Sad but true! Wished that they would stop!
I second that. I am a smoker who has been struggling for YEARS to quit. If I had a DeLorean, I'd go back in time to my 19 year-old self and punch him in the face until he put that first one down. I have several friends who have mentioned from time to time wondering what smoking is like. I've told them flat out, "If I ever see your hand with a cigarette in it, I'm going to rip it off and beat you with it."
It is undoubtedly the stupidest thing I've ever done.
