  • Thanks for letting me know! I really like being able to read whenever someone replies in the same thread I have in the settings area, it makes things useful!
If any of us were interested he would let us help, but we are not actually that interested in the motorcycle or getting on it. I like four wheelers and stuff off road but I would not really feel safe on a motorcycle even though my dad is very careful.
I do have a more artistic side like he does. It is funny because my dad and I personality wise seem really different but in other areas we are so much alike.
That's cool! I mainly just shop at Hobby Lobby because they have everything I need, they have great prices, and great sales. He makes a lot of other stuff as well! One year for Christmas he made us all Irish Whistles. Currently he is working on a motorcycle that my uncle gave him.
He has not made me any jewelry yet, because he has a lot of projects, but he has talked about it and if I want his help he will help me. Yeah, I think it has to be natural but still needs a lot of practice. I know when I get out of practice it takes me a few days to get back to my usual standard. Blessings.
Yeah, some guys have a real eye for creating stuff. My dad is that way and he can design things really well. He also has worked with metal a lot in the past so he can do pretty well with jewelry. He actually made my mom a really neat steampunk watch pendant.

Thanks! I am really enjoying it here. I was used to on other forums that whenever I posted having to be prepared to be verbally attacked but I don't worry about that here because from what I have read through so far the moderators seem to do a great job and the people seem really nice!
Okay, thank you! That is what I thought but I wasn't sure if a guy would start a jewelry thread. I have no brothers so I'm not always sure if it is an interesting subject to most guys. What type of work do you and your wife do? I think it is wonderful to be able to work from home, which is one reason I want to start an online shop now while I am young.
I did google it and find that it is a real name, I guess it probably is just one of the more uncommon names. Odd questions, but are you a guy or a girl? By the screen name I first assumed you were a guy but then I could be wrong. Thanks! I will go look at those other threads as well!
Thank you! It is wonderful to be so warmly welcomed. Just wondering, is Farouk your real name or just a screen name? Thanks for sharing with me a couple of the threads you have started, I really like the one on jewelry.

Christmas was great.. nice and relaxing and good to catch up with family. How was yours?
Yesterday they said they were going to try to gradually get him off the breathing machine and blood pressure meds. About the same today. He's stable, but still in critical condition.

Looking forward to Bible Study tonight, we finished Numbers (kind of dry) and are starting Acts which I really like so it will be a nice change.
