Covid Vaccine, a Gospel imperative

Again, we need to look at all the aspects of this issue - if you are going to talk about long term risks of the vaccine, you need to balance them against long-term risks of not getting vaccinated against one of the most contagious pathogens that humanity has ever seen.
And that means including percentages…

Of course this is what you believe! We all know this is what you believe.

And it contradicts what the experts say. Could the experts be wrong? Of course they could be.

We will see, won't we?
if you were ordered to take anthrax shots under that same wordimg and got sick from it ,you wouldn't say that ,I know a few and I was made too get it .
I’m sorry if you think I’m debating. I’m simply trying to have a reasoned conversation with you.

You and many others have reasoned that vaccination is the much better solution. However, you cannot force that reasoning on others who reason differently than you without considering their views.

For example, I believe Michigan in in the mid to upper 60 percent range when it comes to vaccination rates for those 12 and older. However, when you look at the city of Detroit, that rate is about 48 percent which is consistent with the black community nationwide with the exception of the southern states where those rates are much lower.

You have to ask why, and I’ve posted two links that show how the US government admitted that they lied to the black community and actually did medical experiments with them.

This is not false information Drew. It’s factual and it’s part of our US history.

Trust is a huge factor in getting people to do things. And when that trust has been betrayed, people won’t respond. As a result, when you say false information, it’s only false depending on ones perspective, and trust is part of peoples reasoning process.

So, the reality is this. When folks drive their own agenda without consideration of others perspective, it only causes more issues.

In conclusion, not everyone will get the vaccine and mandating it will cause a serious social uproar here in the states.

So the question for you is this. Will you love them? If you say yes, then loving them means wishing them the best and helping them by giving them things that are valuable.

One thing we can give them is information that can save their life or reduce their suffering and by that I mean we teach them about early treatment and when they should go in, and why they should go in.

What you don’t seem to consider is many people have gotten Covid and it wasn’t much more than a head cold for them. They don’t feel they need the vaccine. But for that very small percentage where Covid turns into Covid Pneumonia, they need to be told what those symptoms look like and when to get in. Why? Because by the time they get Covid Pnemonia, it’s too late for the vaccine. And if all anyone is pushing is getting the vaccination, then they are withholding critical information that is causing needless suffering, death and clogging our healthcare system.
my case is so mild ,I can easily go on a run . asthma is not changing it . no fever ,no oxygen level drop .taste is much better .

for me its mild .it might have been the vaccine

That is the main reason why I chose to be vaccinated. Because of my asthma.

no,chicken pox and small pox are way more contagious and so is tuberculoses.

I test positive for the tb antibody despite not ever getting it .I was exposed in Afghanistan

No, it takes two weeks after the second shot, if you got one of the two-dose vaccinations in order to be fully covered.

I was vaccinated with the first Moderna in April and then six weeks later in May with the second for Moderna. I have transported and been around Covid patients and have not been infected.

trust is to be earned and the left has implanted doubt into blacks

1.cops are racist
2.the white majority of congress and any level government are precipice against you

the blacks who were here long enough remember the tuskogee expirement
i learned of it from black Muslims ,it wasn't mentioned in school ird

you can't just tell black America this and then expect them to trust fauci who goes back to the early 80s .

the nih was the organizatuon who sanctioned the tuskogee expirement and allowed it for decades knowing they already had a cure ,since the late 30s

Can we at least say, some cops are racist as not every cop is?
missing my point

you can't with the media push a narrative that Floyd died of racism ,he didn't it was due to excessive force .the conviction speaks volumes
one of many I could say and they spin all as racist when its often not at all.

you can't call cops as a group racist as instution ,call american built on the backs on blacks(critical race theory)and then expect them to buy into the same govt whose only change was the same party in power .left or right ,most racial problematic police departments are in Democratic cities .

Okay, okay.

And you believe what you believe. Where does that leave us?

The so-called experts are basing their information on the US as a whole. With over 86% of the US population living in city locals, those determinations are heavily slanted toward urban dwellers and not us farm dwellers. The risks with regard to me and my lifestyle are many times lower than for the average and even majority of US citizens.

For you, it was probably a good decision because you are one who is of the high risk category for serious consequences. It is even more important if you live in a populated area where you would have a higher potential exposure.

According to the literature and charts I've seen on the CDC website, the risk of infection from Covid does seem to drop after the first vaccination and then after the second vaccination it drops further. One piece of information suggested it takes roughly two weeks for the vaccines to properly develop the necessary protection.

Which I do. I live in between Orlando and Tampa, plus I am an EMT that transports Covid patients. So, my choice was pretty clear. I was hesitant at first, but that is because I have a phobia of needles stemming from when I was four years old and they had to stick me with 22 needles in each arm to test for allergies. That was back before scratch testing.

I also have a girlfriend that has an auto-immune disease that takes a medication to lower her immune response, a mom with COPD, an ex-wife whose immune system is gone, etc... All factors leading to my decision.

Whoa! Walking time bomb. I can fully understand your apprehension about this virus.
