    Pride-Arrogance-Hostility & Ignorance

It's sad to say this...but the majority of people I meet that fit the descriptions of "pride, arrogence and hostility" are typically other Christians. In fact, when I think about all the worst people i've known in my life...they are almost always other Christians i've encountered. Not saying...

Bible Study Do you take the Bible literally?

Animals from then to now didn't change. If you mean that most subspecies didn't exist then, then what you are saying is that they evolved over a short period of time into seperate subspecies. Also, what about animals that were designed by God to only eat meat? How were they fed all that time...

    How moral are swear words?

The words themselves are not moral OR immoral. It's the meaning behind them. The heart of it. If you're cussing because you're angry, then it's sinful because you were angry. Saying "Dang!" is no different than saying "damn!" because the two are the EXACT same meaning. But hearing the words...

Bible Study Do you take the Bible literally?

Obviously not all of the bible is to be taken literally. Jesus often spoke in parables. Many of the stories are true in the bible however. Though...to be honest...I do have a hard time believing that Noah could fit thousands of animals AND their multitude of subspecies onto a single ark...

    I was shocked!!!

The only time drinking alcohol is considered sin is when it becomes glutteny...which obviously applies to anything. And yes...if they have a problem, then we need to confront them in love. It's just important not to demonize alcohol because someone has an addiction to it.

    I was shocked!!!

someone who has a beer or a glass of wine is very different from an alchoholic :)

The skull motif: would you wear it?

I like skull designs. I don't own any, but I like them. To me it's a artistic representation of the human condition...how we are all dust. We don't have forever on this earth. And that we are nothing in comparison to God's glory. But each person sees it different.

    Do you make ubelievers angry?

It's what Jesus taught us to be like thousands of years ago. Funny enough...the people Jesus made angry the most were other self proclaimed christians. (like the pharisees...and even made his own disciples frustrated on occassion)

"At our church, there are several with tatts, including several middle aged women"

Re: "At our church, there are several with tatts, including several middle aged women That's pretty cool!! :) I just find the whole thing very frustrating. I firmly believe that the greatest enemy of Christianity today are Christians poor/judgemental attitudes towards others.

    A Christian shouldn't get sick.

Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses. 1 Timothy 5:23 I think that settles this conversation/debate.

    I was shocked!!!

If they weren't getting drunk then why are you making a big deal about it? And we wonder why people think Christians are obnoxious....

    Do you make ubelievers angry?

I almost never make people angry...and I don't hide being a Christian. Of course there are some that ARE angry towards me...but it's nothing I did, they were angry before they met me...they just despite Christianity. But I RARELY make anyone angry directly. When you love others...people tend...

If trick or treat is satanic...then Christmas is incredibly satanic as both have strong origins in pagan ritual.

    Christians vs. Non-christians

We are saved by grace. But faith without works if dead...if someone is really saved, it will show through their works. If our works don't reflect our hearts then how can we really be new creatures in Christ?

    What is self-righteousness, really?

Typically...people that are self righteous use vague scriptures to push their own personal opinions on spiritual matters. They usually come from a self made moral authority and there is no room for discussion...they are right, you are wrong. That is it.

    Non-Christians more caring than Christians

It seems to me in this culture that authentic Christians are really rare. As someone who did a lot of church hopping in the past and being a "people watcher" I've observed a lot from various churches and what I saw was pretty disturbing. During worship a vast majority stand there with empty...
