    That is what I'm trying to get him to explain. On one hand, he tells us God made up His mind eons ago. THEN he tells us our eternal destiny is at stake - WHAT STAKE? Did God make up His mind for us or not? At this point, I am unsure of what Josef believes AND what "election" means.

    See, this is where your theology becomes confusing, cluttered and unnecessary. You just described what we all did to come to Christ - to accept His gift of salvation. In other words, 'election' means nothing. It's all terminology, nothing more.
