[__ Prayer __] Prayers and Praise for me and my boyfriend!

BrandiLynn. I won't hijack this thread and debate anybody, but I want to tell you to ignore Nicolas. In this case, he is wrong. You and your boyfriend have done something wonderful. Yes, you committed sin, but you have repented and have been cleansed. You have a whole new beginning. And...

    A THREAD ABOUT ANYTHING

Can anyone one explain why at 28, my hair is so thin you can see my scalp through it and my beard turns up about 6 new gray hairs per day...when my dad is 50 years old, has had the same amount of hair on his head and gray in his beard for a decade? .....I think it's my wife's fault. Speaking...

Baby on the way, kinda scared

Hello, and welcome to CF.net! AND CONGRATULATIONS!!! :wave I'm a father of 3 myself, and have long had the same fear you do, because when I was a child, God was something that simply wasn't discussed in my house. I apologize because technical issues have made work the only time I have...

Did I Have A God Like Experience? What Happend?

Exactly. The Lord can use miracles big and small to call people toward Him. Something as simple as relieving a toothache in your case, or in my own the overnight disappearance of a planter's wart (or a seed wart, if you prefer. Short version I dug the seeds out repeatedly, and it kept coming...

    Does God...just not like me?

You're very welcome, and I'm flattered you were able to find comfort in my words. I sincerely believe everything I said because I have honestly lived it, and because of that I hope within the next few years you'll be hearing about a little church in Middle Tennessee called Forged in Fire...

[__ Prayer __] New member in NEED of prayer!!!

I agree with the above statements. I'm going to copy and paste something I posted in a thread a few months ago because, while my situation wasn't as urgent as yours, I shared much of the same experience. I should preface this by saying that I had moved back home a couple of years ago when my...

    Deja Vu

Well, if it's the feeling that the situation has happened before, then (assuming that's true) when said situation happened before, was it not a revelation of what would happen in the future, which is why you feel it's happened before??? Yeah, I know, I'm stretching the logic farther than Mr...

    Deja Vu

You're welcome, for whatever it's worth :shrug But don't be ashamed. We are all works in progress until the day the Lord calls us home, which means there's always something for us to learn. :thumbsup

    Deja Vu

I'm no expert, but I would think considering the Bible was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic, "deja vu" (being French for "already seen") wouldn't be in there. However, Scripture is full of people having dreams and visions, so perhaps there's something there I'm just not aware of.

    Does God...just not like me?

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. -Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV That is the most important thing to remember, dear sister...

How do you know which bible book to read next?

That's not true. We can fully expect to understand them, as promised by Jesus Christ. " But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have...

Is it okay to lie to your kids if...

Apologies. I failed to realize you're a professional psychiatrist. I asked you to PM me if you wanted to continue this, instead you want to play cute and continue attacking me in public. I'm trying very hard to remain calm, but you are rapidly exhausting my patience. Although I couldn't help...

Is it okay to lie to your kids if...

Using that logic, why don't I go ahead and show her a video so she learns how a baby gets in mommy's tummy? Why don't I pour a bottle of whiskey down her throat, or shove a cigarette in her mouth? Why don't I tell her about rape and murder? Because she's seven years old, that's why! I...

    Bible Study Adam: created perfect?

Exactly, but that redemptive purpose required Man to fall. Jesus was the only perfect man to walk the earth.

Is it okay to lie to your kids if...

I meant magic in the figurative form, not literal witchcraft as spoken of in Acts 19. The notion that i would teach my children about spells and rituals and the like is ridiculous, and frankly offensive. We're talking about Santa Claus, not satanism. Again, you're entitled to your opinion, and...

Is it okay to lie to your kids if...

I couldn't have said it better myself. All kidding aside, I'm a father of 3, although only my oldest is able to comprehend the idea of Santa (she's 7). She believes (her sister and brother will, too) in Santa. We tell our kids Santa is real in my house, but my oldest also knows why we...
