I've heard about people like you, my friend: Those who seldom drink coffee. I didn't think I'd ever meet one of them, though. (I kinda thought the whole idea of non- or rarely drinking coffee people was an urban myth.)

My college has a Pepsi machine in the break room. However, the VP of Enrollment is a devoted Coke man and had them put Coke in the machine. So I had to buy Coke if I didn't want to leave campus.

I once asked the surgeon to put a permanent IV in my arm so I could simply mainline coffee. He laughed as he said he could understand the logic behind my request, but he said he couldn't do as I asked.

Preach it, brother! I remember trying Starbucks for the first time and being amazed at how strong it was. On the cheap, we started buying Starbucks coffee in bulk at Sam's. And I gradually made mine stronger and stronger at home. I've reached the point where I use 4 full coffee scoops for 4 cups of coffee before I leave for work (twice the strength). Once in a while, I'm forced to get the real stuff from Starbucks, and it tastes like water with a hint of coffee. I have to order a quad-shot of espresso just to keep up with the potency of my home brew. Always straight black, always awesome is coffee, and then back to Diet Coke!
