A Scenario

My questions are legitimate. They are NOT intended to mock anyone.
If a mother is Raptured, why would she be dead? If the infant isn't Raptured with its mother, then it will fall to the floor.
According to the answers, there doesn't seem to be an age of accountability for a child - or no one has ever given it any thought. Maybe parents of young children should. Maybe parents should ask their ministers.

The mother can be raptured and the infant, being younger than the age where it can be responsible for the eternal decision of following Christ, would be raptured too.

Every human is different. Some are accountable at a very young age. Some never reach an age of accountability..... learning disabled, mentally damaged, whatever. Sometimes my wife would say that I don't have enough intelligence to decide this LOL.

God knows you and when you have the cognitive ability to accept and or decline Christs gift of salvation. Before this age..... you are not accountable for your sin and thus enter heaven.

The rapture is for living and dead BELIEVERS only.
First, the people who have died and had accepted Christ as their Savior before their death, will be resurrected and be given heavenly bodies and rise to meet Christ in the air.
Second, the people who are living will be given heavenly bodies and rise to meet Christ in the air and the previously resurrected previously deceased believers.
The time between the dead being raptured and the living is so small it will be pointless to measure it.

The rapture is NOT the second coming of Christ. He will not set foot on earth but meet us in the air....
The second coming is at the end of the tribulation where Christ will return to earth with His army of angels and the raptured people. All of these form His Holy army. Incorruptible, immortal, sinless, pure and unbeatable.

The return of Christ and His Holy army is not to fight with the risk of losing. It is to END all injustice, remove the antichrist and all who have taken his number (the number of the beast)

Christ will then set up His millennial kingdom with the angels and people who were previously raptured, then judged and rewarded (with heavenly incorruptible bodies) as His helpers. He will rule for 1000 years over the people who endured the tribulation and did not take the number of the beast. At this time, Satan is bound and cannot tempt or corrupt the humans who live on the earth for the 1000 years. (these survivors will live as old as the trees, it will be seen as shameful to die at a young age during Christs earthly reign)

Near the end, Satan will be freed for a small amount of time and will deceive some people.

At the end of the millennial reign of Christ the great white throne judgement will take place. All of the people who were not raptured will be judged here. This means all that had died and had not received Christ before they died, All who took the number of the beast or died during the tribulation without accepting Christ as savior, and all who where alive during the millennial age. Only people who survived the tribulation to enter the millennial age can be given eternal life at this point. All others either took the number of the beast or were not saved at their time of death. Raptured people will have already been judged and rewarded.

This is the way I see it based on the scriptures. I hope it has answered some of your questions.[/QUOTE]
