Just a guess ..... but I'd say "B" .... makes them frenetic & they eat wood faster

In 1964, The Animals had a number one hit, House of the Rising Sun. It took an unusual amount of time and takes to record in the studio. They were pleased with the success of it, irregardless of time. The time it took them to get it recorded good enough to satisfy them for release was...?

A). 6 1/2 weeks
B). 15 minutes
C). Over 2 1/2 years

Janis Joplin: She claimed many musical inspirations over her brief career. People like Bessie Smith, Odetta, Leadbelly, Billie Holiday ... even Kris Kristofferson (while they were dating) who wrote "Me & Bobby McGee" for her. So it's rather difficult to name just one.

Aretha Franklin: Again, there were quite the few songs Aretha turned down to record. One in particular, which she later did record but it didn't become a hit for her: "Son of a Preacher Man." (That song became a big hit for Dusty Springfield in late 1968/1969.)

Oh, did I fail to mention that radio is in my background????

The greatest song never recorded by Aretha Franklin was by Fontella Bass and is called "Rescue me." For a lonnng time I heard this song on the radio and thought it was Aretha singing! Great song, here for your enjoyment:
