I think I need to disagree with you on this, Buddy... I'm pretty sure that Lee is buried in Seattle. Unless they moved him...hmmmm, is there a conspiracy now?

Grief, @Edward ... Jimi Hendrix quote? You're making me stretch my brain ...and my brain doesn't wanna be stretched!

Jimi Hendrix, one of many listed as 'idol' of Janis Joplin, said: "I don't know, you'll have to as Rory Gallagher."

Robert Plant has one daughter named Carmen Jane Plant, and is now married.

Carmen was what I was looking for.

Jimi Hendrix's favorite guitarist was...(there are some poised at their computers waiting for me to say Phil somebody so they can correct me, there's a rumor that he said it was Phil somebody (don't remember the last name) but I've heard that and know the truth!) Jimi's real fav guitarist was...(this blew my mind when I heard it!) none other than, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top fame! I like ZZ top and grew up listening to them. I never even knew that Jimi knew them until I heard this.

Some more Led Zeppelin trivia perhaps so it doesn't stretch your brain too much? Ok

Did you know that Jimmy Page was an inventor? He was. What did he invent?

What is Zeppelins longest song?

Keaggy... Phil Keaggy, a Christian guitarist. I've heard this as well, but it's just an urban legend. Phil Keaggy is a great guitarist though. I had also heard that he beat out Joe Walsh for lead guitarist spot in a band once as well.

Yeah, that's it. Phil Keaggy. I've never heard of him myself, except for the rumor.

Jmmy Page is credited with the creation of reverb - or reverse echo - in or before 1967 when he was still with The Yardbirds.

Zeppelins longest song is a fun one: Dazed & Confused ........... disc jockeys would play it when they needed meal breaks or other breaks because the song ran 26 minutes or so.

Right again. You knew that, lol.

I know, how 'bout you giving me a few to see if I can answer them. I think I'm pretty knowledgeable in music, mostly rock & roll...

(Old girlfriend trivia for fun! One of my old girlfriends when I was younger, I dedicated this song to (Dazed & Confused) and called it her song! She was so D&C lol that she never picked up on the obvious insult!!! She thought it was cool because she liked the song and then her Eddie dedicated it to her, when it would come on the radio or whatnot, she would leap up and turn it up and start bragging to people that it was her song from Eddie! They would shoot me a look and smile and shake their head.. bwahahaha. I'm bad.) :toofunny:rofl

".....it's only rock and roll, but I like it............."

Question: What Crosby, Stills & Nash song admits: It's getting to the point here I'm no fun anymore." ?

♫...I am yours, you are mine, we are what we arrre..♫

I think that's called Judy Blue Eyes? Is that it? I know the song, but not sure if I'm remembering the title right. I like CS&N.

"This is the first time we've played in front of people...we're scared ****less!!!!":lol

Very good!

It had the confusing "Suite" before Judy Blue Eyes .... until one read the full title ("Suite: Judy Blue Eyes"), most radio listeners of the time thought the name of the song was "Sweet Judy Blue Eyes" .... understandable.

(I'm scrunching the ol' brain for a jazz question ... in honor of the upcoming Estes Park Jazz Festival...)

In the meanwhile......... here's this:

What Kool and The Gang hit was played at the arrival of the US Iran hostages in 1981 ?

Uh-oh. I know a few of their songs but Iran hostages in '81? UHHH, a wild guess here. Get down on it?

(It's hard to bring up their songs in my head right now, I still have Dazed & Confused running through my head! I had to play it)

Good try ... but it was "Celebration" ..... I know... it was an obscure sort of question, and one would have to really really really like that song (and I still do) to know the answer. Sorry about that, Edward !

How about this one:

Who "shared the secrets of my soul," in a Janis Joplin hit song?

That makes more sense for the hostages return! Celebrate good times, come on...:)
At least I didn't guess Jungle Boogie, lol!

That would be Me and Bobby McGee! Listened to it recently. I knew that anyway.

How fun! "Jungle Boogie" !!! You're a hoot, Edward!

And YES ... it was "Me and Bobby McGee" .... congratulations!

Here's an oldie: What's repeated over and over after "crimson and clover" ?

I couldn't remember for a second, and then re-read your question and seen...:biglol

Over and over....:)

A freudian slip? LOL

Gotta love them girl guitar players! I remember that good now.

Airdancer might've went beddy-bye. Anyone else tuned in?

Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac. Which band member was her boyfriend, and which one did she have an affair with?
