An Apostle cannot be called an angel.
Angels are messengers, as was Gabriel, but they are heavenly beings that serve God. This is the common understanding.

So an angel could be a messenger....
But not all messengers are Angels.

The prophets were also messengers, but not angels.
Hi Wondering,

The Greek word anggelos simply means a messenger. It can be a spirit being or a person. Anyone who beings a message is a messenger. The apostles brought a message thus they were messengers or angels. The problem is that Christianity has turned the word angel into a religious term. Instead of translating the word Anggelos as messenger, the translators have transliterated the word coming up with angel. This has allowed for the word to be hijacked and used as a religious term and often the original meaning gets lost. They have done the same with baptizo.

YHVH is not pronounced.

Man added vowels to YHVH.

The Hebrews would skip over it or just say Lord.

Do you believe Jesus Christ is Lord; YHVH, the Lord God?

JLB
Agreed. My point was that they added the vowels so th as t it could be pronounced.

Is YHVH a being or a title?

YHWH or YHVH is the name of the Lord.

Yhôwshûwaʻ — Joshua Strongs H3091

The Lord is Salvation

If any letters are to be added to YHWH, in my opinion it would be these.

Strong's G2424 - iēsous

The Lord is salvation

Strong’s Definitions
Ἰησοῦς Iēsoûs, ee-ay-sooce'; of Hebrew origin (H3091);

So it seems in concord with this theology that Satan also knew that Jesus , not actually being God, was absolutely open to the possibility of committing sin ?
Satan knew that while he could never cause God Himself to sin, Jesus, not being God, was a horse of a different color, left completely vulnerable to attack in the matter of sin , thus Satan's modus operandi:

" If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread "
( Matthew 4:3)

Satan also knew the possibility of sinning was the chink in Jesus's not fully God armor ?
Yes ?
No ?

We don't know what Satan knows. We do know He tempted Jesus to sin and Jesus did not sin. We do know Jesus never sinned and therefore was not a slave of sin needing to be freed from that bondage. For as Jesus stated everyone who sins is a slave to sin unless the Son sets them free.

We do know Jesus was a man with the weakness of flesh but also had the deity of the Father living in Him which to me would give Him power to overcome that weakness just as those born of God by the Spirit can be aided in their weakness to overcome the desires of the flesh.

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live

So you believe Jesus could have been capable of sin ?

Someone who can't sin can't be tempted to sin.
So if Jesus could neither sin nor be tempted to, was Jesus referring to His Father when He tells Satan:

" Thou shall not TEMPT the Lord thy God " ?

( Matthew 4:7)

His Father being the one and only " Lord God " after all .

A better translation is do not test the Lord your God. And, yes, it refers to the Father. It's not even talking about sin. Come on guy, let's stay in the ball park.

Temptation is not the sin.
Succumbing to the temptation is the sin.
Jesus being the target of Satan's " tempting", why does He then respond to Satan by saying:

" Thou shall not tempt the Lord Thy God " ( Matthew 4:7 )

Himself being the one in Satan's crosshairs ?
Did He think he could fool Satan ?
