If atheism is right, then there cannot be such a thing as a "world-view"? Every view must ultimately be a subjective distortion and an illusion, including atheism itself. Why do you even talk about the meaning of randomly colliding atoms; that is dillusional. Education is a dillusion; law is a dillusion; love is a dillusion; money is a dillusion; the forest is a dillusion and so is the cat. If your view is right, then you are even more dillusional than the rest of us, for you are trying to argue a logical belief when there cannot be one. Christians are at least consistent with their beliefs. Atheists are the most dillusional; for they try to find "meaning" in love, in money, in education, in law, in society, in faithfulness, in integrity... when all of these things are completely a dillusional momentary experience which was randomly and chaotically encountered merely by chance.

Do you use the legal system? Dillusional!
Do you marry? Dillusional!
Do you have insurance? Dillusional!
Do you have an education? Dillusional!

Christianity is at least consistent with its beliefs (hypocritical, but consistent); atheism is totally inconsistent.

You previously presented yourself as an atheist. If so, then all things are random chance; and love does not exist, it is simply a chemical reaction to trick you into believing in the need of procreation for the purpose of survival. Why would atoms need to do that? Why do they need to survive? Why do we have a survival instinct? How do randomly colliding atoms create an instinct to preserve itself? It is an illusion. Which means your marriage does not have love; it has chemicals that mutually deceive each other. Your parents too deceived each other simply to take advantage of an already existing illusion of survival.

Christianity makes sense; atheism does not. If you were a true sceptic you would be sceptical of a self-imposed delusion; atheism. Atheism requires everything to be a chaotic collision of chance. Everything! There should be no such thing as murder - what does it matter if we kill? There should be no such thing as theft - theft of what? Delusional collections of randomly colliding atoms! Law, government, marriage - it all must go. It is all part of a package of accidental particles colliding, and nothing has any value whatsoever.

I agree that insincere prayer will not help. You are the only one who knows in your heart if you're sincerely praying to God and open to Him; I'm not in a position to make any assumptions either way.

I am an atheist myself, but I have a personal relationship with God. For me, that is the "right" worldview for myself.

I'd be thrilled if you also were open to that worldview, but ultimately nobody can prove anything to you. They can only explain (hopefully in a respectful way, of which I've seen a mixed bag in the replies to you).

A suggestion, perhaps focus on asking more specific questions about issues you find stumbling blocks towards acceptance of God, as opposed to challenging people to argue their broad worldview against yours.

Now you are spouting nonsense.

We get love because it is an instinct to procreate, and society is currently set up in a way where it is celebrated to be with somebody who you attracted to ( I am talking about lover type of love.) we get our family love because we are a social species, and are coded ( in our genes) with altruism.

Evolution has ingrained instincts for us to survive and help others. Following society's laws is one of the best ways to survive a long time and live a decent life.

Again, you are not an atheist. You are just non religious. If you believe in a personal God( one who answers prayer and miracles) you are a theist.
