No greater turn off in a man than a mustache. Well a beer belly (or obesity in general) might be a greater turn off. But mustaches are really bad.
Other forms of beards are okay, depending how well they are groomed and how well they fit to guy's face. Some guys' beards tend to be a hygienic disaster.

And for every bearded man there should be such a lady.

I thought that image looks fake, so I googled for "Miss Annie Jones Elliot" and found out she was actually real and so was her beard, unlike many other "bearded ladys" of those days. Some genetical condition, most likely. From childhood on she was a circus "freak". :-( She was a spokesperson for circus freaks and tried to remove the word "freak" from the business. She got married two times and died from tuberculosis in 1902, at only 42 years of age.

There's a modern trend where men shave the head and not the face. It's like upside-down head.

That's actually kind of sexy. Especially in combination with piercings, tattoos, muscles and heavy metal music.
