I'm from Perth, the world ended there years ago....or at least it stalled / paused indefinitely...........

Looks like Galactus - comic book villain and enemy of the Fantastic Four. He needs to devour planets to sustain himself. That would have been a dignified death for us.

It's a nice image, but they could have made a better job on the horizon line.

Hey Claudya, the bumpy horizon line is the Darling ranges. Very picturesque in winter (no snow :sad). And in summer a tinderbox that catches or is set on fire by arsonists every year. It's called a range but Mt Cook is the highest peak at a little over 1000m....no extreme climbing either....sigh.... WA=Western Australia or WA= wait awhile...and something exciting might happen lol

Hi Paul:

So they are the Darling ranges, then?

If one of the peaks is Mount Cook, I think there's another Mount Cook as well in New Zealand ( also called Aoearoaea, or something).

I think eventually after the Darlings come the Olgas, don't they.

Perth sounds like a great place to go, anyway. I guess you guys get back there once in a while from Thailand.

Blessings.

Hi Farouk, nothe Olgas are about 1700km as the crow flies north east of the darlings.
Nope, don't go back there nowadays. went back in July '08 for 2 weeks. Only stayed 6 days. Haven't been back since
