Can we talk about anger?

The problem with anger is that it separates us from God. When I lose my temper I lose my connection with God because he's all about love. So I'm going to take a break from all this and try to reconnect with him. I don't know why you're angry but that's okay. You have a right to your feelings. I do have a tendency to want to have the last say and that might annoy you. As I said it's not clear to me what's going on. And I will let you have the last word and hopefully we can wake up to a brighter tomorrow.

P.S. My supervisor at work once told me I needed to go to see a psychiatrist and get an evaluation. He interviewed me for 3 days. His report said that my greatest skill was getting negative attention. I looked at him and said well it's not exactly a gift. But it was true. It's something that I'm working on. Goodnight.

What is interesting to me is that you are using provocation just as much as Quantrill but it's more disguised. In this respect Quantrill's communication style is more honest.

And I wonder are you conscious of the tactics you use in a debate/argument? Have you analysed them? Do you ever self reflect on them? I suspect it has become instinctive.
Only because I try to be ruthlessly honest with myself. I can certainly get angry and I am sure you can point out tactics I use. I do tend to be sarcastic. It's a defence mechanism as is my humour. To address anxiety.
If anything Susannah you are an interesting person and I thank you for that. I shouldn't pretend I have the ability to give you counselling. Does counselling help you? It helps me but I can't really afford it at the moment. I think I can counsel myself in the meantime. But that is of course an illusion I know.
Ok well I might sign off for a while. Dog duty calls.

Good Morning, hope everyone feels better today.
It's pouring down with rain here and we are expecting severe wind and thunder and lightening, to last for several days. I don't like lightening, and my cats don't like it either
The sky is angry!
What is your weather like?

The chill has gone. It's clearing up. Today was pleasant.

I sometimes forget that you are in different seasons. Is it early spring?
My favourite years are when I lived in South Australia for 11 years.

We adopted our two children there.
My daughters blood mother was Dutch, her father Austrralian. My son's parents were both Australian. I'm English but my heart is Aistralian.
