Some are Apostles, some prophets, some teachers, some workers of miracles, some have the gifts of healing, some speak in tongues, and then we are shown a better way than all of them.
1 Corinthians 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
Prophecies and prophets then fail, those who talked in tongues vanished.
Then that which is perfect came to us, ( the way better than all the teachers) as we became a man( of God) and put away being a child( of the law being our school teacher and we have no further need of one)
Now we are all the children of God by faith in Jesus Christ( all are men of God and no longer children in understanding)

All the body is equal and IS ONE, nobody is over anyone else at all.
WHY DID PROPHECIES, AND THOSE WHO SPOKE IN TONGUES, AND TEACHERS KNOWLEDGE, CEASE AND VANISH AND FAIL AND WAS DONE AWAY ?
If anyone cant answer that, to show why healing is required from another, prophecies from someone else, tongues spoken by different people, then they wont know the purpose of all of those things, was to establish the church, and how the verses tell plainly, how it WAS ESTABLISHED, and how EVERY WIND OF DOCTRINE GIVEN BY THE CRAFTINESS OF THE DECEIVERS GIVES THE BODY THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF MAN.

Can anyone have that simple knowledge and understanding to know CHARITY IS THE BOND OF PERFECTION, TO PUT ON/JESUS CHRIST AND THEN THAT WHICH IS PERFECT HAS COME AND WE COME TO THE UNITY OF THE FAITH UNTO THAT PERFECT MAN?)
Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Can the "teachers" and "healers" ever accept they are replaced by Jesus Christ, without being offended and outraged, and left in envy ?
I am able ( enabled) to make it strongly clear anyway. Knowledge vanishes away.
How did knowledge vanish away ? The first covenant knowledge waxed old and then was ready to vanish away. ( It vanished, the schoolmaster that brings us to Christ.)
That knowledge way( being taught by the teachers in the first covenant ended) because that covenant does not continue, God writes all in man by His Spirit, in man.
Now, ( not, according to their covenant of not continuing) they SHALL NOT TEACH EVERY MAN, for all shall know the Lord, from the least to the greatest.
Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
The question remains, why do people think tongues, healing, anything like that, needs to be given by God, to bring people to an established faith ?
Especially when knowledge ( of Christ) is increased now, to answer how thy are just denying the faith.
That is part of Gods wisdom, the wolves entered the flock to draw away disciples, speaking perverse things, also they are unable to ever come to the knowledge of the truth. ( even though as told, it is increased now and all is told.)
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Nevertheless, this is not a commentary on biblical passages.
Look, I understand your position and you understand mine. I suppose what it really comes down to is if you ever bothered to do in depth research of what I believe. I probably should have at least asked that in the OP
I had no choice but to do that with the Charismatic/Pentecostal doctrines in my situation. I was a new Christian and living with these people for over a year.

Once the Holy Spirit has spoken using your tongue and vocal facilities it is game over . There is no going back . It is a supernatural event taking place inside your body . That's all I have to say tonight . Say a prayer for me !
