Sure, please do so.

A “good” conscience is not the same thing as a “purified” conscience. Two different words.

The scriptures provide us with a great cloud of witnesses, but within these witnesses we find two sets of ideologies just as Paul describes in the book of Galatians when describing the two covenants and the two Jerusalem's; the one the genders to bondage, while the other is free!!

We can either strain at the letters of the words and try to decipher its meaning for ourselves, or we can listen to the Spirit of the message; for the letter of the words leads to DEATH, but the Spirit giveth LIFE.

2 Corinthians 3:6
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Do you confess your sins?

I'm sorry but I do not find this question as stated as being pertinent nor thought provoking to the discussion of this thread as set forth in the OP.

This I will confess: That I am a son created in the image of God to walk in Faith before the Lord.

But what teachings or instruction shall we base our foundation on?
Here's where we start:

I believe in one God, The Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth and of all that is seen and unseen.

I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, light from light, true God from true God,
Begotten, not made, of one essence with the Father
Through Him all things were made.
For us men and our salvation he came down from heaven:

By the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilot;
He suffered and died and was buried.

On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures;
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead
And his kingdom will never end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
Who proceeds from the Father.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic church.
I acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and life ever lasting.
I believe that the segmentation of the Church of The Christ was not the ideal nor the targeted destination envisioned by the saints of the first century.
Absolutely!
Jhn 17:20-23 (NKJV) I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will[fn]believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Jesus wanted the entire Church to be in unity.
