Well,look at the dress that is excepted by our world right now.Ever been to a department store and in the ladies section?Most of the tops are very low cut.I used to like to wear blouses but now even those are low cut.If a girl is a Christian and her morals,values and Character are with Christ that would be a difficult choice.You can not tell them that you will only wear a certain kind of clothing because there are many girls waiting in line that will wear the inappropriate clothing.Even in the little girls section of a store they have thong underwear :erm

I know, I live in a beach town. I have two weeks of seeing what they wear here on the beach. back in mar I couldn't believe what I saw the teens wearing at the fair. I wouldn't let jaci out the door , let alone put that on. but my wife would kill that long before it came to that.
A few months ago I was at the grocery store.There were two high school girls who passed me.I could not believe it.I had to look away it was so obscene.I was wondering if their parents knew that is what they were wearing...or did not care.
Well,it depends on what kind of dancing you are talking about.Some of the conservative Bapists are very against dancing.

lol. That reminds of the first church I attended after being saved. They had many rules, like men were to be clean shaven because Jesus didn't wear a beard. It was because of their teaching against the gifts of the Holy Spirit that I came to know about David Wilkerson and his ministry, the Lord works in funny ways.

No. But his ministry touched my life. I would very much liked to have been active in that ministry but I was not free to do that at that time and we later moved away.

If you notice, you used the phrase, "It all depends" four times. Nobody forces the girls to wear the clothing they are asked or to wear nothing when asked. The real question is, "Whom do we follow? "
If a model's convictions don't line up with society then perhaps modeling is not the career for her. If she is a good model and her ability sells products, she can stand her ground and still be successful. If not then, oh well.

Yes, as is the same in a great many jobs.
That may be, but I have spoken at length about this very subject with more than one coservative, fundamental Baptist pastor. None of them could show me one single scripture that says we can't dance. Every single argument they gave against dancing was only an argument against certain types of dancing and it was something else that was the actual sin, not the concept of dancing itself. None of their arguments or the scripture they cited applied to dancing in general (even though they vehemently condemned all forms of dancing in all circumstances.)
Unfortunately the OP is too vague to really come to any conclusions based on anything more than conjecture, personal tastes, and preferences. Perhaps if he would be more specific on what type of dancing and why he limits it to just females this would be more productive. I mean, Classik, come on. Are you talking about strippers? Or are you talking about ballroom dancing and implying there is some question among Christians as to whether it's ok for men but not for women? Or is it something in between that is sinful for women and not for men? Can you cite some scripture to base this on (for or against)?
