Hey All,
A person's changed life through belief in a delusion is strong evidence that it may not be delusional.
When I was with Sanctuary, back in the 1990s, I observed total drug addicts, and people that society would call dregs, come to Christ. Long hair, unkept, spaced out look in their eyes, would invariably start to change. It was exciting to see God clean them up and change their lives. Some cut their hair; some kept it long. Almost all would come in clean clothes. They would find jobs, and start to become productive members of society. Plus, that spaced out look was replaced with a clear-eyed person reflecting the joy of salvation in their heart.
I don't believe a delusion can cause this change. Joy in your heart, that does not leave, even when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, is the evidence of things not seen. It is evidence of God.
1 Peter 1:7-8 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Amen.
Keep walking everybody.
May God bless,
Taz
