Coming Blood Moons and Eclipses

I have heard many predictions on moons and so forth. one recently in a book. so what is difference tween this and Harold camping?
and well isreal will be saved. thus a church.

Harold camping made a prediction based on a series of calculations, saying that Jesus would come on X date. The blood moons do not suggest that Jesus is returning specifically, but do suggest the possibility of prophecy fulfillment. Maybe Israel will take back the temple mount, or fulfill something else in relation to end time.

Matthew 24:42-44 "(42) Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. (43) But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. (44) Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

We will not know the exact time of his return, but we will see it coming for sure. If we are ready, and watching, we will not be surprised like a thief in the night. Only those who are not watching will be surprised.

so what is the difference? you do forget that when jesus said he wasn't going to saving souls. show me where he says when he comes back. those that aren't right with him are left behind and the kingdom of the david is restored. his words only. have fun.

The difference is that I am not predicting that Jesus will be returning on the said date of the blood moons. It would be exciting if he does, though!

I am not sure I understand you properly. I never made the claim that I am only exclusive to pre-trib rapture. I quoted scripture that says we need to watch and be ready. If we go through the tribulation, I will be ready because I know the signs of such events. Whether he comes before OR after.

1)im not a trib type. pre prib, post trib nor mid trib. why? when alleged seven years starts? uhm how exactly wont men know?
2) Christians have been martyred since day one. we are in the great trib.
3)im a jewish Christian. because of the church. I'm DENIED THE VERY THING PROMISED BY GOD TO ME. and yet when the jews believe in the same in the trib they get what?

What many don't realize about these "blood moon" prophecies...is that they are entirely inaccurate. What you will hear from TV preachers is that the blood moons have been consistantly aligned with major events.

What they don't tell you is that is not entirely true. Less then half of the blood moons landed on significant events...the rest happened within the same year or the following year.

Right. But, it is sort of rare for them to fall on the Lords days (feast days?), and even rarer for them to fall on all of them consecutively. We have one of those coming up. When they fall upon the Lords special days, that is when they are tied to big events.

What makes these blood moons and eclipse different then any of the others that have already happened. Did Christ return during any of them! The sign we need to be watching is Christ coming in the clouds as no one knows the time or the day in which this will occur. Books have been written and time has passed by those books and we are still here. I think we need to rely on the true Book (Bible) for our answers.

Mat 16:1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
Mat 16:2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
Mat 16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
Mat 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
Mar 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
Mar 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Mar 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

I don't recall hearing any prophecy teacher who teaches about the blood moons even saying Jesus will come back in that time period. IMO, I believe a significant event will occur in the next 3 years that may mean we can then begin the countdown until he returns. The most glorious event since creation will occur soon, and to say he doesn't want us to know when his appointed time will come is tomfoolery.

In post #2, there's a video that mentions the dates of the coming "blood moons":

April 14 2014
Oct. 8 2014
April 4:2015
Sept. 28 2015

I see a couple of potential problems. The first is that, because of the way the calendar works (by sighting the new moon and the ripeness of the barley), we won't know whether the feasts will actually be on these dates, until the new moon is sighted for those months. But the second problem bothers me even more. Out of those 4 total eclipses, only one (Sept 28 2015) will be visible from Israel. The other's won't even be partially visible from Israel. If God is giving His people a message on His feast days, why wouldn't He want them to see it?

So are you saying that we shouldn't try to understand prophecy?

There's Genesis 1:14 too

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:/

No, I am not saying that at all. Prophecy is very important for us to study, but when futurist try to set up time tables and second guess what God has already spoken then this sets a red flag before me. I'm 59 years old and have seen blood moons and total eclipse before and was just asking why some think these ones are so different then those other ones seen before. Genesis 1:14 IMO is being taken out of context to back up yet another of mans theory. God set the sun and moon as signs of seasons, such as the four seasons of winter, summer, fall spring. Sun and moon gives guidance during the day and the moon guidance when traveling at night. Sun and moon helps with the growth of vegetation on the Earth for without them everything would perish and this will happen right before the Lords return Many farmers follow these sun and moon seasons for planting purposes to know when to plant and when to harvest.

God has always told us to be prepared for the return of His Son Christ Jesus and the only sign I need to be concerned with is Jesus coming in the clouds and have my lamps full of oil prepared for His coming. Being prepared is a good thing and brings back the memory of Y2K and what could have happened. Many of us prepared for the worse, but when that did not occur what we had was a well supplied cupboard. Whether these blood moons have any great significant or not we need to be about our Fathers business of continuing in His good works He started and to take His word out into the world as one plants, another waters and God will bring in the harvest.

Many like to pick and choose certain scripture to back up what they speak, but you need to read the whole Chapter to understand what the Holy Spirit is trying to teach us. I posted two verses here, but you need to read the whole Chapter.

Rev_4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Rev_6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

I used to think that seasons meant spring, summer, fall & winter, but when I looked it up in the Concordance, my eyes were opened to the intent and meaning of the term seasons used there. It means appointment, or appointed time. That we may may know that we are in the last days and certain things are close to coming to pass.

Seasons
H4150
מועדה מעד מועד
mô‛êd mô‛êd mô‛âdâh
mo-ade', mo-ade', mo-aw-daw'
From H3259; properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season; specifically a festival; conventionally a year; by implication, an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose); technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand): - appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, solemn (-ity), synagogue, (set) time (appointed)./(E-sword)

I'm not trying to be a date setter, nevertheless we are told to pay attention to these things. That's all.

I do agree with you that we should be about our Fathers business planting seeds.

Many people will argue that Jesus was saying this in reference to the Feast of Trumpets, which I currently believe has a strong argument. At that time, the Feast of Trumpets was known as the day and hour that no man knew.

1 Corinthians 15:52: "In a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."

It is well known that the "last trumpet" is making a direct connection to the Tekiah Ha'Gadolah, which is the last trump blown during the Feast of Trumpets. It is my understanding that we will hear the blowing of the horn from the heavens, and we will be caught up at this time. I am not saying he will return on the Feast of Trumpets this year, but I believe that is the appointed time that he is set to return. It makes it very clear in the bible.

You're starting to sound like me, and I'm glad there's somebody here with that insight. Actually, 3 of the 4 eclipses will be more visible from USA and Australia. Ironically, I just made a chart for another forum to post (eclipse table)View attachment 4002 View attachment 4002 View attachment 4002 View attachment 4002 . Since you sound worthy of knowledge in these matters, I am uploading it just for you, and anyone else that cares to know some details.

Yeah, those are good videos. I think these things are important, but we do have to be careful to not go off the deep end with it and start trying to come up with dates and so forth. Nevertheless, the information is good to have on hand and know so that as they happen, we can know what is really going on without even turning on the tv and trying to interpret lies.

We are in or coming into a period of time in which the bible speaks more about than any other time period in history, even that of when Jesus walked the earth as a man.
