I understand your point...and if you think that any Government is better I'd like to know which one.

All the governments did this...not just yours.
And I'll agree that they did it in a knee jerk fashion instead of reasonable prudence.

Shutting down public transportation...of course they should.
Same as concerts and sporting events.

Stores should require masks for entry or be exposed to lawsuits. No brainer there.
Restaurants and bars closing?...yeah. unfortunately them and all caterers.

And of course an order for everyone who can work from home to do so. Restrictions on travel by airports and sea? of course you do that.

But them processing plants...should have screened and masked everyone in them. The retirement and nursing homes should have done much better than they did...that's viable lawsuits waiting to be heard. Anywhere people must work elbow to elbow you need them.

Think of this as a warmup for a real plague coming. Because there are real plagues waiting in the wings. Funguses aren't viruses...we have no immunity to those either...and no drugs. Antibiotics dont work on fungi...

There's a lot of dangerous things waiting to do us in...our government is the least one we need to worry about. We are in good shape as far as government is concerned until the day we catch their attention. Then it's time to be afraid.

They all follow suit because they follow a world government. I mean the UN and the WHO and the whatever other Cess Pitt is not there for no reason.

The WHO could not even stop a pandemic and it's the World Health Organisation with mega funding and that's its main job. It just sucks funds, like the UN and when it fails just says not my fault, what are they all doing?, drinking fine wine and eating luxury cheese platters?

That's because they are Government...not a leader like Jesus. Of course Government is wasteful with tax dollars...of course you have to give them money to waste in obscene ways.
They don't have the answers they should. Even Solomon in all his wisdom in Ecclesiastes said that Governments fail everyone.

Heaven is where the Government is going to work out and work well. Not until then.

In the meantime we are just to try and navigate around ours.

The airport may be closed...but that's not the only way to get home.

Where it's not fast by any means, it's not luxurious either...and there's not a lot of privacy either...there are cargo ships that travel to NZ from various places. Your ports are likely still open and most cargo ships have limited passenger rooms. Because some cargos require escorts (A variety of reasons) they are available for a fee... meals are not necessarily provided. You might have to figure out how to feed yourself for the weeks you are on board. (Don't expect a window or entertainment being provided either)

Might have to hit a few stops along the way too...

But it's a way of getting home.

It's just not a fun or as easy way to travel.

Some people don't understand the difference between a temporary visa and permanent residency.

Wearing a Chinese mask where you can see through ,yup I,must ,cuz safety ,

All the while Cleveland clinic doesn't recommend masks unless its known that the patient is sick,and if so the staff where face shields .

I,feels safe while changing the cloth masked guys oil,tires.

Costa Rica, Phillippines, Guatamala, Honduras, Bolivia, Argentina and I'm forgetting someone....they are making the cloth masks these days. They have the sewing machines and cutting machines that mass produce clothing articles. Ain't nothing but a thing to import more cotton from Brazil...
 
My,point is if I were to deploy oc spray ,those clothes masks wouldn't do squat,I can read through mine!

If a bandana woukd actually stop,a virus,a bacteria why woukd a hospital simply not use them.
My pastors wife wears an n95 mask with eye pro.she is an er,pa.runs a shift .long ago much thicker filtration is used for chemical agents ,useless against biological attacks ,you can see through the m17 filter or m42 ,yet the issued masks at work. Yes

A bandana won't work because the fibers are woven instead of knit.
T-shirts are made of knit cotton and not woven. They will work if you use two layers...and that is what the cloth masks are made of.
Don't stretch them so tight that you can see through the cloth...wear them snug enough to seal but not so snug that you can see through it.

I,can wear a bandana and most don't wear masks like you say,the ones I get say not for covid 19.a nurse at the hospital locally posted a photo of those types .

I have asthma ,the point to use an inhaler would be defeated by the mask ,I would have to yank it off during the badd attacks .

My,mask allows oil to penetrate. I have oil spill on it then near my,mouth is a oil stain .

If a crowd of people jumped off a cliff to their deaths...
Are you going to follow them because a few people only got severely hurt instead of dying? Or are you going to encourage others to follow the crowd?

Or maybe you will just hang out on top of the cliff and stay silent...

My job is providing should I spent half a days wage to provide protection for myself ,I already don't wear a mask at work,the scared snowbirds likes to bury his meter in thick insect infested shrubs ,I have had foilage force my hat off.

If they don't ,I can quit ,look you,may but that the state can keep you safe ,stay home worry about what cookies you made ,lie in,boxers ,

I,no workie my wife dies,already had me 341 hearing ,owe the irs a gran,

So i don't mind working ,this quaretine is really about which group,must sacrufuce ,its the lower class.

In my state you,would be building ,that wasn't stopped,watched several homes go,a Verizon store go up.

Safety ,don't need more phones ,lawns mowed etc

Well you are wrong on one score...I got a clean layoff and I'm not going to go to work for a while. I'm getting just as much on unemployment as a regular paycheck. I could go to work if I wanted...but I don't. I have a wife that I can't live without...I need her healthy, happy, and whole. Me coming home with this virus could very well be the end of her.

I'm waiting for the cure...it should be out in a couple of months for wider distribution. (Stage three trials)
When something substantive has changed other than more people being sick of being stuck in quarantinaville and governments caving into their crying...I'll go back. I have no reason to until such a time. June bills are already paid.
