[_ Old Earth _] Creation

You say "acknowledges God and His creation". That's fine by me.
But feeding the many through creation isn't something I've known any evolutionist on this board to claim to believe.

Most Christians just acknowledge it as a miracle, and let it go at that. I don't think adding new doctrines is a good idea.

There's always some other means presented to dodge that one. Transportation is very popular. But stealing bread isn't exactly something Jesus would do.

I'll just trust that He did it the best way, and let it go at that. If one doesn't know, then one doesn't know.

At any rate, it's not a problem for evolutionary theory, which makes no claims about such things.

You assert creation and evolution are opposed but have yet to demonstrate it. Also evolutionist is a made up word.

What would be the ramifications to evolution if Adam had no father?
Evolution is base on age and time. If something "becomes" through creation having no age then how could evolution explain it?
It can't. Therefore it does become paramount that creation not be accepted for what it is. Anything else but creation is fine, but not creation from nothing. All things must have age. Therefore no evolutionist will ever acknowledge creation after God created the universe. It cannot not happen. Creation cannot be allowed after that event under any circumstances.

If you believe creation occurred after God's creation of the universe then no, you're not exactly a TE.

Most theistic evolutionists I know, think that God continued creation by natural means.

After that absolute creation of everything then God used evolution to bring forth everything else thereafter, including Adam.

Would it bother you if God used nature to continue creation?

"creation by natural means."

Different definitions of creation.
Creation, something from nothing, differs quite a bit from the definition of creation the TE believes.

if adam isn't literal then neither can Christ be a man who actually came from adam. the idea of near kinsmen is negated.

Exactly.
And Mary's line would include the ape. Therefore Jesus would also be of the lineage of ape through Mary.

the idea of the goel is in Leviticus , I think, and also its seen in ruth.

Adam had to be a literal being, yes. Created in the image of God. Not evolved in His image. Or came to be in His image.

gah, that would mean that at one time he wasn't fully human as when god brought him to life he was called a nephesh chaya and has the divine spark from god. if he knew what good was ere that then he cant be an animal. apes and lower animals have no moral dillemas when they kill for food and don't feel sorry when they by nature play with their food before eating it. like a cat when he gets his meal punch drunk.or when some animals eat their young.

I do have a slight different view on in his image then many Christians.

Yes. It does matter.
A lot.

Adam had to have had age. And so did those fish Christ created. All had to have age for evolution dictates it to be so.

He has no age if he was an allegory.
