Scripture Of The Day - UTILIZING AUTHORITY

Exodus 4:2-4 - "And the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, 'A rod.' And He said, 'Cast it on the ground.' And he did so and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the Lord said to Moses, Put forth your hand and take it by the tail. And he stretched out his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand."

Moses' rod became a serpent. A serpent was the symbol of royal and cultic powers. A serpent was placed on the crown of every Pharaoh because it was the mark of sovereignty. God was showing Moses that He was going to give him authority. One of the Egyptians' gods was a serpent and God was clearly showing Moses He would give him power over their gods.

STEPPING INTO A DUNAMIS LIFESTYLE

Many Christians today never utilize their rod, leaving the wonders that God put in their hands unused. In order to step in the dunamis (power) lifestyle, sometimes we have got to throw down some things (past history, good or bad) that we have previously leaned upon.
God has given us the privilege to witness the restoration of what the devil has stolen from people. As we step out, we see that restoration of people's peace, health, freedom, and their very lives await us.

Affirmations:

Since I follow Christ, I am an ambassador of the entire Kingdom Of God on earth.

It is impossible for the spirit realm to turn a deaf ear to me when I know the power of my words.

When I know the spiritual power within me, the spirit realm always hears.

John 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides by me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for a part from me you can do nothing."

Scripture Of The Day - BE CLOTHED AND MANTLED FOR VICTORY

Gideon was "clothed" (mantled) with God Himself. If you recall Gideon's story, it was difficult for him to see himself as God saw him.

Gideon was fearful and hiding from the Midianites. Yet God referred to him as a "mighty man of valor."

God saw Gideon's potential – just as He sees ours -- "He sees us completed!"
"and in Him you have been made complete...." - Colossians 2:10

Think about this: God saw Gideon completed – victorious, courageous, and clothed with might!
Even though Gideon couldn't see correctly, God kept speaking into his potential. ("The Lord is with you, you mighty man of fearless courage.....Have I not sent you?" - Judges 6:12,14)

It is the same with us today, when God says, through the promises of scripture -- "Go forward with My strength. You are courageous; you are victorious; you are full of My power!"
Are we "seeing" ourselves that way? If not, it is time to "awaken"!

We must awaken to what Heaven is declaring concerning ourselves in advancing His Kingdom.

John 1:1-51 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it..."

Scripture Of The Day - BE NOT DISMAYED

As followers of Christ, we are to be bold, brave, and extremely courageous. Scripture declares in the book of Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

"For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go!" This promise is repeated throughout Scripture and is the foundation of the promise in 1 John 4:4, KJV: "Greater is He [God] that is in you, than he that is in the world."

We must embrace the promise of our identity in Christ and believe that we can accomplish exploits by His Spirit. The Kingdom of God will not be established by mere words, nor by our abilities, but by the Spirit of God (see Zechariah 4:6). This confidence can only come from factual, experiential union with Christ. By abiding in His manifested presence and becoming one with His Word, we become bold and are able to stand firm, knowing who we are in Christ and who Christ is within us (see Proverbs 28:1). God's Word declares that the fullness of the Godhead is in Christ and that we are complete in Him (see Colossians 2:9-10).

Be confident: You are born for this day. Do not delay to move forward by faith, walking in victory and taking your place as an overcomer, embracing fully the DESTINY God has planned for you (see Ephesians 5:14-16).

Arise to the occasion and take your place as a victorious overcomer, standing strong and bold, declaring that the Kingdom of God will swiftly come to earth!

As we continue to embark upon 2018, expect to experience the presence and power of God in an unprecedented manner. Never forget God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or even imagine (see Ephesians 3:20-21).

Hebrews 13:5 "Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you."

John 5:24 "Truly, truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who has sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgement but has passed from death to life."

Scripture Of The Day - BECOMING A PARTAKER

Romans 10:9,10 - "Because if you shall confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved."

When we confess His Lordship, it not only His dominion over us, but "lord" means Leader, "the bread-provider," the caretaker, the protector from all our enemies. You actually become a partaker of the Divine Nature. (2 Peter 1:4).

As you become a partaker of His Nature, you become a partaker of His ability:
1. God's ability becomes your ability
2. God's strength becomes your strength
3. Jesus' ministry becomes your ministry.

When we acknowledge Him as our Lord, then God becomes automatically our very Father. All the resources of Heaven are at our disposal (Ephesians 1:3) to:
1. Minister others into christ.
2. Disciple them
3. Equip them to disciple others

Affirmations:

I HAVE POWER TO LABOR FOR THE SPIRITUAL LIVES OF OTHERS.

I MINISTER OTHERS INTO CHRIST, DISCIPLE THEM, AND EQUIP THEM TO DISCIPLE OTHERS.

SINCE I AM GOD "INSIDED MINDED" I CONFESS -- GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD.

Hebrews 9:22 "Indeed, under the law almost everything is pureified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins."

Scripture Of The Day - BECOMING A WORLD CHANGER

Some people, right before they are to receive prayer for their healing, say "I know God can do it."
At best that is hope....not faith. Faith knows He will.

"So then faith comes by hearing and hearing, by the word of God." (Romans 10:17). Notice that it does not say, faith comes from having heard. The whole nature of faith implies a relationship with God that is current. The emphasis is on hearing.......in the now!

Faith has its anchor in the unseen realm. It lives from the invisible toward the visible. Faith actualizes what it realizes.

Faith has focus and purpose. Faith grabs hold of the reality of the Kingdom and forcefully and violently brings it into a collision with this natural one. An inferior kingdom cannot stand.

QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF:

1. If there are no impossibilities when there is faith, why are there so few miracles? Why does the Church seem so impotent?

2. "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing, by the word of God." (Romans 10:17). Is there a difference between reading and hearing?

3. Does "forceful" and "violent" describe my faith? How does active faith become aggressive?

Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.-

Scripture Of The Day - BEHOLDING THE GLORY OF GOD

Revelation 4:1 -- "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven..."

If we will live in the awareness of the heavenly, we must be freed from the boundaries of the earthly. To awaken faith, the Holy Spirit will take us through times when the presence of God cannot be clearly discerned.

Psalm 13:1 -- "How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? forever? how long with thou hide thy face from me?"

We should not accept that God has permanently hidden Himself from us, though during trials it may seem so. He is teaching us to see in the dark and to hear in the silence. He is making Himself known to our inner man so that, regardless of outer circumstances, we can continually be led by led by His Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:18 -- "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit"

OUR VISION MUST BECOME SPIRITUAL

To see God, it is imperative that our vision becomes spiritual and not just sensory. To hear God, we must learn to tune out the clamor of our fears and earthly desires.

The time of darkness, though it comes as an enemy, actually compels us to seek God more earnestly; we learn to even more revere God's light. Ultimately, we will discover the truth of what Isaiah wrote, that "the whole earth is full of God's glory" (Isaiah 6:3).

The Bible was written by individuals who actually beheld the glory of God. To see the glory of God is our call as well. Our spiritual vision is not an imaginary device of the mind, but that which comes from the living union of the Holy Spirit with our hearts.

Matthew 5:8 -- "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."

PERSISTENCE IS THE ANSWER

It is reasonable to expect that, if Christ truly dwells within us, we ought to perceive life with unveiled minds?
We remove the veils of sin, shame, and self-absorption, by persisting in seeking God. If we stay focused upon His Spirit and Word, we should expect to see the glory of the Lord.

AFFIRMATION:

I expect that, NOW, -- as I enter my prayer room or go for a walk, or in a dream -- the Spirit of God is going to appear to me in some marvelous and life-changing way.

John 14:1-31 "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go prepare a place for you? And if I go prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going. Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?"

Scripture Of The Day - BEING CONFIDENT IN HIM

"Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6)

The Lord has a way of making every misstep and wrong turn to somehow make you "land in His hand." Even in those times of confusion and bewilderment when you thought, "I'll never get out of this..." God makes a way:

"Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but Thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place" (Psalm 66:12).

Never think, "My life is over," or, "I totally failed God," or, "I'll never be a success." These are the words of satan or your carnal mind! As long as you are breathing – keep trusting and knowing that victory is right around the corner. You are loved and God can be trusted.

God said through Joshua: "Not one of all the Lord's good promises...failed; every one was fulfilled"
(Joshua 21:45).

AFFIRMATIONS:

I am delivered from the evils of this present world for it is the will of God.
(Galatians 1:4).

Out of His glorious riches He strengthens me with power through his Spirit in my inner man. (Ephesians 3:16).

In all things I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me. (Romans 8:37).

I am an overcomer and I overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony.
(Revelation 12:11)

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 3:14).

Malachi 3:16 NKJV

"Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another;
And the Lord listened and heard them;
So a book of remembrance was written before Him
For those who fear the Lord
And who meditate on His name."

Exodus 20:11 "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy."

John 14:5,6 NKJV

5. Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"

6. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to
the Father except through Me."

These 2 verses make me realise how lost we would be if Jesus had not made the tremendous sacrifice to show us the way and bring us salvation. And how grateful we all should be. Thank you Lord Jesus.

Amen to that. :cross

Scripture Of The Day - BELIEVING FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE

Acts 3:6,7 - "But Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have; but what I do have, that I give to you: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk! Then he took hold of the man's right hand with a firm grip and raised him up. And at once his feet and ankle bones became strong and steady."

Part of our problem is this: we are accustomed only to doing things for God that are not impossible. If God doesn't show up and help us, we can still succeed. There must be an aspect of the Christian Life that is impossible without divine intervention that keeps us on the edge and puts us in contact with our true calling.

Matthew 17:21 - "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."

The Kingdom of God is not a religion; it is an ever-expanding, all-consuming relationship with Jesus Christ. It is as different from religion as a brilliant angel is from a shadowy ghost.
The only temple God dwells within on earth is the temple of our human bodies. John, in the book of Revelation, is very plain. He says of the Holy City -- "I saw no temple therein."

Revelation 21:2,22 - "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it."
