Growth Daily Verses

1 Samuel 16:7 "But the Lord said to Samuel, do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things human beings look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."

Oh and I just wanted to add that I never look at the outward appearance of people either. Well, maybe sometimes I do if they're guys and I find them attractive, but I still don't judge them specifically on that. You can never judge a book by its cover.

Scripture Of The Day - BLOWING THE LID OFF LIMITATION

Matthew 28:19 - "Go ye therefore, and disciple all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

Jesus has called us to live extreme lives as history makers who live in constant increase as we go about transforming the world for His glory and His kingdom -- just as He did!

John 17:21,22 - "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou has sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me..."

Jesus could enter into deep communion with His Father at will to receive downloads of wisdom and counsel. He knew the Father intimately, walked in His peace, and transformed the earth.

John 14:12 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."

Many believers have settled for less than God has intended and made available to us all along by his precious Holy Spirit. Many are content with partial victories because of a mind-set of limitation.
Jesus blew the lid off limitation because He would not settle for a measure or for a limit. Human minds, wisdom, and ability are limited. He had to seek and rely on the fullness of God's Spirit upon Him in wisdom, understanding, counsel, might and knowledge, which enabled Him to do the things He did that radically changed the very course of history.

Only the FULLNESS of God's Spirit satisfied Him.

Revelation 3:1 - "And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith He that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars......"

Isaiah 11:2 - "And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;"

These seven flows of the Holy Spirit (Presence of the Holy Spirit, wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and fear of the Lord) are available to every believer to help us live in constant increase as we go about transforming the world for His glory.

John 7:37-39 - "If anyone thirst let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.' But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified."

The word "river" is pluralized. This indicates multiple flows of the precious Holy Spirit. One Holy Spirit - seven functions or expressions of Him through us. It all starts with daily deep to deep communion with the Holy Spirit so that by His divine power we will be partakers of His nature in us (2 Peter 1:3,4).

Acts 1:8 - "But you shall receive power (dunamis: dynamite miraculous power, force, might, strength, enabling power through the Holy Spirit) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you."

QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF:

Am I settling for less of the Holy Spirt than God has intended and made available to me?

Am I content with partial victories because of a mind-set of limitation?

Scripture Of The Day - BREAKING FREE OF THE ORPHAN STRONGHOLD

2 Corinthians 6:18 - "I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

What does this mean for us? It means that as sons (no gender) we are given the riches of the Kingdom and the authority to rule and reign on earth! Yes, we are anointed to bring Heaven to earth and demonstrate what is in Heaven upon this earth. Just as when Jesus was upon the earth, He ministered to other Jewish people as a Son carrying our His Father's business, we are being commissioned to do the same! However, to fully demonstrate the Kingdom we must break free from the orphan stronghold/mentality.

KEYS TO BREAK FREE FR0M AN ORPHAN STRONGHOLD

• Repent for believing the lie that you are unworthy to be a son of God. Repentance means to change the way you think! Don't see yourself as a sinner any longer. See yourself as God sees you—as a son! God is extending abundant grace for you to rule and reign as a son today. Write down this Scripture and remind yourself of this every day:
"Those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life." - (Romans 5:17 NASB)

• Remind yourself that you are righteous and that you have been given authority to rule and reign! You receive righteousness by faith. Use your faith now and see the Lord releasing new measures of grace and authority to you.

• Bless your fathers and mothers (spiritual ones also).

• Ask for a blessing from your parents. If deceased, ask someone in spiritual authority to speak a blessing over your life.

• Rise up and make a bold declaration that you are blessed; you are a son and daughter, and you choose today to walk in the fullness of Sonship. Today, all poverty is broken off of your life and your eyes have been opened to see yourself as God sees you!

I found a perfect verse that I dedicate to my fiancee Joe. :) To be rather honest with you I had never heard this part of the Bible before though, but I still really like it even though I'm adopted so the part at the end doesn't apply to me but everything else does.

Song of Songs 3:4 "Scarcely I had passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother's house, to the room of the one who conceived me."

Scripture Of The Day - BUILDING FAITH

Matthew 12:35 - "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things."

Who did Jesus say brings it forth?
The good man from the good deposit of his heart brings it forth.

What you deposit in your heart is what will come forth, for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
What's abundantly in your heart will always get in your mouth.

Also what's abundantly in your mouth will also get in your heart.
In other words, you establish things in your heart by "saying" them with your mouth, and the cycle starts all over again.

SOWING THE WRONG WORDS

James 1:26 - "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain."

If you are not a doer of the Word, no on has to deceive you, because you are are deceived already.
If you don't bridle your tongue--it will deceive your heart.
You will sow the wrong words, and the seed you sow will produce after its kind. Many people wonder why things turn out the way the do not realizing their tongue deceived their heart, and their heart brought forth fruit of itself.

PLANTING FAITH BY SAYING

In Romans 10:6-8 Paul tells us, "the righteousness which is of faith speaketh...the word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart." Notice it's in your mouth first, then in your heart.

Jesus confirms this in Luke 17:5,6. When the apostles asked Him to increase their faith, His answer was: "If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you."

He didn't say a thing about giving them more faith. He told them to plant their faith by "SAYING", and it would produce.

Affirmations:

I SPEAK GODS PROMISES INTO MY HEART EVERY DAY.

I PLANT FAITH AS A SEED BY RELEASING IT IN WORDS.

I SPEAK ONLY THOSE THINGS THAT I WANT TO GROW IN MY LIFE.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, alwayes preserves. Love never fails."

Scripture Of The Day - CALL TO DEEP WATER EXPERIENCES

In Luke 5, Jesus entered the boat of Peter and told him to put out into deep water. He instructed them where to let down their nets, and they caught so many fish that their nets broke. They had to signal for help from another boat, and they caught so many fish that both boats nearly sank.

Fish can often be symbolic of people, and water can represent the Spirit or the Kingdom of God. Indeed, the early Church, in the Book of Acts, experienced this as many began to follow them. To them it was equivalent to being in deep water, and the disciples were stretched as God opened salvation to people groups that were outside of the disciples' comforts or belief systems (see Acts 10).

Luke 5 was a prophetic parable of what Jesus is now calling us to today. But there was also another fishing encounter that Peter and a few disciples had with Jesus in John 21. During a time when things looked discouraging, Jesus stood on the shore and called out to them to let down their nets. But this time He told them to cast them on the other side of the boat. Again, they caught a large number of fish, but this time the nets did not break.

The prophetic message in the John 21 experience is that they had to cast their nets on the opposite side of the boat. God is drawing people, but they are not where we might think. Many people who have felt that they either messed up or have been hidden or forgotten are now suddenly going to have an encounter with the Lord.

GOD'S CALL TO US NOW

In Luke 5 where God is calling us to mend the holes we have in our nets, the holes represent gaps in our understanding that have kept us from drawing in people that need His love and acceptance. He is also calling us to network just as they had to call over other boats to help with such a large harvest. Immediately after the large fish encounter, Jesus asked them to lay down their nets and follow Him.

This year many people are being called to lay down their personal lives and businesses for a time and help those who are starting to experience greater favor. The result will expand the Kingdom much more quickly, and it will bring a blessing to those who make the sacrifice.

QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF:

• Are the hooks that the enemy has placed in me being revealed?

• Am I willing to mend the holes in my own nets, which are the things that have prevented people from experiencing God's love through me?

• Am I willing to hear God's calling me into "deep water" experiences, which are experiences outside of my comfort zones?

• Am I willing to do things differently than I have in the past (cast my net on the other side of the boat)?

Many people will be called to lay down what they are doing to help others, and as a result, they will also share in the blessing.

This is the Bible verse I decided to post since I just came back from visiting my fiancee. :)

Song of Solomon 8:3 "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine."

Scripture Of The Day - BUILDING INTERNAL STRUCTURES

Romans 12:2 -- "Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

The renewing of the mind is not merely that we can be positive thinkers. It is because God is wanting to build internal structures in us -- instruction -- in which the Kingdom resides -- that is why Jesus said "the Kingdom is within you."

When revelation knowledge comes that leads to divine encounter (Rhema) -- when those things become established as ways in our life what happens is there is an internal structure that houses the ongoing expansion of God's kingdom.

When we operate from theory we tend to speak down to people and put them under judgment because we try to bring by command what God is offering by grace. But when it is an internal reality (Rhema) we actually have substance to impart and that impartation is needed to experience transformation.

We transform culture by becoming the solution -- by becoming the bearer of revelation that solves the issues that concern people.

I feel like I really need this verse right now.

Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Scripture Of The Day - CALLING DOWN THE FIRE OF GOD

"Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from Heaven and consume them?" (Luke 9:54).

It is interesting that Jesus does not reply to them, "You can't call down the fire of God" or "I don't want you to call down the fire of God." No, Jesus says to His disciples, "You don't know what your hearts are like. For the Son of Man has not come to destroy men's lives but to save them" (Luke 9:55-56).

James and John wanted to call the fire of God down upon the Samaritans to punish them for turning them away. But what Jesus wanted was for James and John to know God's heart for the Samaritans – His love for them. Because if they did, they would not want to call the fire of God down upon the Samaritans, but instead upon the things of the enemy that had caused the Samaritans to take offense and which stole from them a visitation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

HIS BURNING LOVE FOR ALL

The fire of God is His burning love for all people and all places for all time. When we connect to God's heart -- when we know His love for people -- no matter what they've done, where they've been, or how they're behaving -- we can call forth the fire of God upon the things of the enemy that are stealing the fullness of God from them.

The Lord wants to empower us to call His fire into the earth. And it all begins by knowing His heart and His love for all people and all places at all times.

PRAYER DIRECTIVES:

So let's pray for the Body of Christ that:

1. We will know the heart of the Lord like never before – the height, the width, the depth, and the breadth of His love for all people and all places at all times.

2. We will be a people who are unoffendable. That no matter how we are treated, we will refuse offense and continue to love.

3. We will make love our highest aim, and love others as we are loved by the Lord.

4. We will call down the fire of God upon the altars of our lives, asking the Lord to burn up every wicked, arrogant or selfish thing in us.

5.We will be His Burning Ones, ablaze with His love and calling the fire of God down upon anything of the enemy that would steal the fullness of who God is and what He has for anyone we encounter and every place we go.

"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."

What another beautiful verse for the relationship between me and Joey. :)

Mark 12:29 "The most important one," answered Jesus "is this: hear, Oh Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and all your strength. The second is this: love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."
