Scripture Of The Day - Imitating Jesus
"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)
"By this, my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples." (John 15:8)
"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you." (John 15:16)
It is time to bear MUCH fruit that remains for His Kingdom on earth and to fully embrace our calling in Christ as imitators of Christ.
The religious mindset divorces the power of God from the action of the Holy Spirit. This creates a life that has no life, no air, and no substance – a flat tire! This mindset leaves a person devoid of power, with only some form of "southern hospitality," where it is only "the Spirit" in name but not in substance. No lives are truly changed -- pandering to embracing the world over advancing God's Kingdom in the earth.
Our lives are to be an extension of Heaven's glory on Earth, bringing people into a living encounter with God.
Every born-again person is in need of understanding their identity in Christ, their right standing with God, walking in the Spirit, and God's purpose for their life. You are chosen to be the vessel that disciples others into His power and glory.
Embrace it! Live it! Love it!
