Daniel's Seventy Weeks

I am talking about Isaiah 9:6, which says: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." This clearly has to do with Government which will last 1,000 years.
the Millennium—a thousand-year reign of Christ—is found in Revelation 20:1-6. This passage describes a period when Satan is bound, and Christ reigns with His saints on earth for 1,000 years.

Those of us who use the Book of Common Prayer,

every Sunday pray the Lord's Prayer.
They kingdom come, thy will be done.
We have different opinions on the 1000 years. I just can not see Jesus returning and we having to wait another 1000 years before God ushers down the New Jerusalem. Matthew 24:29-31; Rev 19:11-21

Do you think you know when Jesus is going to return? As far as when His feet touch the ground? That the angels talk about in the book of Acts.

The timing of Jesus' return is a question that has been debated for centuries. Matthew 24:36 states: "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." This suggests that the exact moment is unknown and part of God's divine plan.

However, Zechariah 14:4 describes that His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, and Revelation 19:11-16 speaks of His return as a victorious King. Some interpretations suggest this will happen before or after a millennial reign, as described in Revelation 20:1-6.

Many have been debating the return of Christ for centuries, but scripture is very clear that even Jesus does not know the day or the hour other then it being after the seventh trumpet, after all have taken the mark of the beast when final judgement of people will come. Matthew 24:29-31; Matthew 24:36; Rev 13; Rev 19:11-21.

Zechariah 14:4-5 is very clear that there will be an earthquake when Jesus returns. What we now know about plate technotices shows us this verse is true. The verse in Acts confirms that His feet will touch the ground. He does not return for us. He returns with us. Those that are Holy.

"On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him."

We do not know the day or the hour of the beginning of the Church on the day of Pentacost when Peter was preaching in the Upper room. We do not know the day and the hour that Jesus was born. For one thing, we use the Greek calendar, which is somewhat different from the Hebrew calendar. Bishop Ussher is considered to be someone accurate.

Bishop James Ussher, known for his biblical chronology, calculated the timeline of biblical events, including the creation of the world in 4004 BC. However, he did not specifically date Pentecost, when Peter preached in the Upper Room and the Church was born.

The traditional dating of Pentecost—the event recorded in Acts 2, where the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles—is around AD 30 or 33, depending on scholarly interpretations of Jesus' crucifixion. Pentecost occurred 50 days after Passover, meaning it followed Jesus' resurrection.

I personally use the year 29 ad or 2029 ad. Because of Apophis, a near-Earth asteroid that will make a close approach to Earth on April 13, 2029. It is interesting the first time is on "good" Friday. Then the second time is 7 years later on resurrection sunday.

Luke 21:25"There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea." Jesus speaks of cosmic signs preceding His return.

In my case I should not still be here now. So I would be surprised if I make it to 2029.

Yes, scripture speaks about an earthquake when Jesus plants His feet on the Mt of Olives, but what is more important are these scriptures below that teaches us when Christ will return, but we do not know the day or the hour, but to be prepared to be caught up to Him when He returns.

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Cor 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Cor 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Cor 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Cor 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1Cor 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1Cor 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Cor 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Bishop Ussher is considered to be someone accurate.
There are many that claim they are accurate, but yet as you pointed out that there is no exact to things concerning the return of Christ other then the signs He gave us to watch for, especially Matthew 24:29-31. Now is the time to be prepared to be caught up to meet Him in the air. 1Thessalonians 4:13-18
