Deathbed Visions

What does that have to do with my reply?
vision of jesus and any nde,ndv as the people who drew them died and claimed to go to heaven. both of them drew the same image. I have doubts about the image, I believe it was they have a bias towards, the rest of the the boys deal as he did say things to others that only god could know isn't what im talking about.

When someone dies they don't roam the earth.They go to heaven or hades.Those that you see seeming to be your loved ones are probably demons looking like those loved ones.
Hi Kathi,
While I don't have the interest in this topic as others do, I wanted to just say that you don't know if they are deamons...

King Saul brought the prophet Samuel back up and can you remember who Jesus and Peter saw at the transfiguration? Our God is the God of the living...

I've heard it said when our body dies our soul is so attached it doesn't know how to let go. This ties into ones name because we are interconnected to our name. When we die, I believe there is a period of time for some where others, such as Jason, are able to connect. I think this is natural and I think it is normal.

What scripture is clear about, is we don't go chasing the spirits down as Saul did.,. We don't practice the art of witchery.

my grandpa john, was deceased about 7 years when I saw that spirit. jeff that is jewish thought. the three day wake in jewry is based on that idea.

When we die our souls go immediately to heaven or hades.It does not wander around the earth.

Your stance can't be supported with scripture. There's nothing to discuss. You believe Jesus comes back and gives guided tours of heaven and hell.....I don't.

.

Sounds like we just need to agree to disagree on this brother. :)

Well, I suppose one thing we can all count on is that once your dead.... your dead.
the three locations of souls mentioned in the bible at the final judgement:
1)sea,
2) hades
3) death.

revelation 20:13
13 and the sea did give up those dead in it, and the death and the hades did give up the dead in them, and they were judged, each one according to their works;

Well, you'd think but actually there is disagreement. People who support NDEs believe by definition the body can be reanimated after physical death. Not arguing either way (for the moment), just saying there is disagreement.

Well, that certainly hasn't been my experience. Bring back either of my two daughters or my younger brother... and my Mom, that would be nice too. Bring any of them back and we'll talk.
Just saying...

When you are dead your soul lives forever.Either in hades where you wait for the Great White Throne judgment or....in heaven if you are a true born again believer in Jesus Christ.The bodies of those in the grave will be resurrected with their souls.

That's not up to me. But I understand your anger. Are you mad at God?

All of the souls are in their respective areas right now.Either in hades or heaven.It does not matter how they died.Cremated,ashes spread out at sea,drowned and never recovered.It does not matter.

that isn't what the bible says. how can the dead be only in hades if the sea gives up the dead in it? and also death? notice death and hades are cast into the lake of fire. if you were correct then the grave it self should be giving the dead yet its not mentioned.

I did not say the dead are only in hades.I said "the souls of those who have died are in hades or heaven.Where do you think the dead are right now?What does "if the sea gives up the dead" mean to you?The sea is the grave for those lost at sea.Their bodies will remain there.It does not matter if a fish came along and ate them.God will resurrect that body with their soul at a future date

Kathi, maybe he thinks that if someone died on a trail high in the Himalayas, there is a special burial crew that comes along and digs a grave for him. I guess he thinks we are talking about physical bodies.

a body that is cremeated will not be in hell. hell isn't in a physical location with laws of physics as the same as ours. if it was then I could find a demon and use a flame thrower and he would burn up. yet that doesn't matter. the souls are there. you claimed that souls are in hades and that has them all, a man in hades Is most aware of his situation. there would be no need to have death and the sea return dead lifeless bodies to be judged. that is why I said what I said.

18 because also Christ once for sin did suffer -- righteous for unrighteous -- that he might lead us to God, having been put to death indeed, in the flesh, and having been made alive in the spirit,

19 in which also to the spirits in prison having gone he did preach,

20 who sometime disbelieved, when once the long-suffering of God did wait, in days of Noah -- an ark being preparing -- in which few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water;

one peter 3:18 ylt, they died in water, and here they are in sheol talking with jesus.so again those were gentiles then, the Hebrew didn't exist. yet now sheol. and death and the sea have souls. death is mentioned being cast into the lake of fire.

That is ok if someone digs a grave for that person.But their soul is already in hades or heaven.Their body will remain in that grave and turn to bones but someday that body will reunite with their soul.

If a body is cremated then where does their soul go?
