Deconversion

Trying to keep track with you all. My answer to your question is 'No' If one renounces Jesus they renounce God.

Thank you for you straightforward answer.

Those who can't answer such a simple question, have an agenda that is suspect at best

I have to disagree with shortening the sermons, but that the sermons need to be teaching us, not boring us. Some like a feel good sermon that tickles their ears, but has nothing to do with Spiritual growth and leaves one empty inside. The church needs to be a place where we come to learn, to grow, to lift up and edify one another so no one who attends will fall from their faith, but to learn how to build upon their faith.
Amen sister!
My sentiments exactly...

Hey JLB, you ain't gonna deconvert me.
You might try WIP, but not me.

That's just it, no one can de convert someone.

However then can teach a doctrine of demon, by which those who give heed, can indeed depart from the faith.

The person the self must choose to depart from the faith, if they give heed to a doctrine of demons.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 1 Timothy 4:1

My prayer for you and all those on this Forum, is you continue steadfast in the faith, and are not moved away from the hope of the Gospel, so that at the end of your faith, you will receive the salvation of your soul.
