I cant remember where I read this, whether it was on these forums or a random email that was sent to me, anyways it was about a talk show who had a guest and the host asked this person some about god and why would he let such terrible things happen. To sum it up short to what I read, the guest briefly explained, how can god make things perfect and stop terrible things from happening all around when we just keep denying him and telling him we dont want him in our lives? We have tooken him out of our schools and many other things, so how can we blame god for such bad things when we dont want anything to do with him, how can he possibly help us if we do not seek his help? I found it to be an interesting read. It also reminds me of when I was lost. Things in my life just was not where I wanted them to be, and I wanted to get my life straightened out before I came to god, which is impossible. When I finally just let it all go and accepted him with all my problems, things started to straighten out. Have you ever seen those bumper stickers that say "Jesus is my co-pilot"? Well I disagree with that, cause I will let Jesus be the pilot and I will be the co-pilot. Let him navigate and get us through the storm, I am going to sit back and let him fly it. As far as the hurricane topic on what I think, natural destruction is talked about near the end of time. the coming of the messiah. Many people are being killed by natural disasters and the seals are being opened and many things in the bible which must pass has allready happened, amazing!! A good read was The signature of God by Grant R. Jeffrey which talks about many things which must come to pass and natural disasters.
