Divine Healing; Why some don’t get healed

“Our sovereign God weaves millions of details into our lives. He may have one big reason, or a thousand little ones, for bringing a certain person or success or failure or disease or accident into our lives. His reasons often fall outside our present lines of sight. If God uses cancer or a car accident to conform us to himself, then regardless of the human, demonic, or natural forces involved, he will be glorified.”

This is a view that certainly is the opposite of the title of the website. No one desiring God can be content with thinking that He brings cancer for our good and just because we cannot see a reason or those "reasons fall outside of our present line of sight" he is still glorified. This is not a view that anyone who wrote the Bible, who walked with God would have. It does not match real life.

Jesus rebuked the demons out of people and did not simply tell the crowd that the good for this man's suffering is simply out of the line of your present sight. He rebuked the evil being done to a man and it says the people glorified God. The did not glorify God because they had no idea what the man suffered but assumed God was glorified somehow. They glorified God BECAUSE GOD RELIEVED HUMAN SUFFERING.

There is other suffering that happens to us because of our choices. It is not God "sovereignly" inflicting us with the natural consequences of choices we make. The wise man knows when he suffers because of choices he made and changes those choices.

Now it needs to be said that those who really desire God have a hunger to understand Him. To those it needs to be said that one can understand God and the only reason a man is allowed to boast in the Bible is that he KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS GOD. Do you believe this? It is true. Not only can we understand God, Jesus said that eternal life is in knowing (understanding) God. That was why Jesus came, to show us the Father so that we understand Him. And yes, that is his desire, that we understand him.

How do I seek peace? Do I have the full divine nature described in 2 Peter chapter 1 ?

To get divine healing you may need the divine nature. That is probably the best case. It brought Jesus to tears because of unbelief at the death of Lazarus.

In the wilderness a brazen serpent on a pole was probably not in any way the preferred best way, but it did speak (in symbolism) of Jesus on the cross. Our healing came through the suffering of Jesus.

Eternal life is the higher order desire. I know you see healing as a first order desire. I understand. To turn someone over for the destruction of the flesh so that they may be saved on the day of the Lord Jesus is way down the line of preferred desire of God.
But
It is the last ditch way to (git er done).

We work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12

We are not all the same. I am for divine healing. The wretched man just causes problems.

Obey God
Do I have the full divine nature described in 2 Peter chapter 1 ?
Let’s look at it;

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us toc his own glory and excellence,d4by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. 5For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, eand virtue with knowledge, 6and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,7and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. 8For if these qualitiesfare yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9

Do others say that describes your character?
To get divine healing you may need the divine nature.
No, that was never a requirement in scripture.
That is probably the best case. It brought Jesus to tears because of unbelief at the death of Lazarus.
Doubt it. He cried because his friend had died. Those observing said so.
In the wilderness a brazen serpent on a pole was probably not in any way the preferred best way, but it did speak (in symbolism) of Jesus on the cross. Our healing came through the suffering of Jesus.
True. Well said.
Eternal life is the higher order desire. I know you see healing as a first order desire.
Pretty sure I don’t. I had to check who you are answering because I never said anything of the kind.

Not sure what to say. These are disconnected thoughts.

Bad theology right here. Wow
