DO NOT BE SURPRISED (A Word Of Warning For The Time To Come)

That is so amazing. i have been in 50 states of America, but have never been out of the country, or done anything for outside of this country. God Bless you for being a part of that ministry.

I've never been there even though I have been asked to go teach the Gospel, but would have to pay for it myself and being disabled I could not afford or take such a long trip. I work with them via the internet sending them the classes I have written and help support them. The children in the orphanages are so precious and love the opportunity of an education.

That is going to happen shortly after the antichrist causes a great Falling Away of the worlds faiths.

Amo_8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Well what a coincidence. That's what the prophets are saying now too. I should'a figured it was in scripture somewhere!

Millions are tricked into taking the mark, Many who take the mark, won't believe it is the mark of the beast.

This will begin to happen, after the 7 year Tribulation Period begins and Jesus did NOT come back when the Pretribbers believed He should have. And when the Destruction of the Earth begins, the Antichrist will be on TV saying "Where is your God now?" This causes all faiths all over the world to Fall Away from their Faiths, famine of the Word, and as you say above Churches razed to the ground. The antichrist convinces the world to put away their belief in gods, which ever god that may be, and come together as a Human people.

Mark of the Beast.

I'm pretty sure that it will be quite apparent to those who know Christ... that it is the mark. Those that do not know Him or do not believe in Him or are just plain blind to truth... they will accept it, demand it, embrace it and promote it. This is how it will be presented... as a fix all and it will be mandatory based on it's presented motivation. Meanwhile, this will be but a veneer that covers the real purpose, as a submission to the beast, the anti Christ and Satan.

It is quite apparent to the Word of God, homosexual ACTS are an abomination and yet how many Christians condone it? So i assure you with no doubts whatsoever, that millions of Christians will take the mark, not knowing or thinking it is the mark. Why do you think i wrote the article in 1994 concerning the Mark of the Beast? Do you think many unsaved or unbelieving people are going to care about reading an article about the Mark of the Beast? i wrote it to warn Christians who are most certainly going to be tricked into taking it.

I understand why you feel this way. Christians of today are calloused and accepting of many ungodly acts and un-biblical views.

However, taking the mark will be like denouncing Christ. I tend to believe that it is one of the things that Christ will make apparent to His children. I believe that this is one of the things that were on His mind when He said.

John 10:28-30 King James Version (KJV)
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.

I hope I am right and you are wrong. How sad would Christ be if people claiming to be Christians and members of the body of Christ.... don't even recognize the OWG, number of the beast... the mark and the ramifications of taking the mark?

Read your article brother. Thank you for all the effort you put into it.

Thank you for the reminder in these 3 verses. They are so comforting.

The first 3 1/2 years of the Mark many Christians are tricked into taking the mark, it is merely a method to buy and sell things after all. But all those who take the mark during the first 3 1/2 years of the Mark will only do so because they are not content with what they have, and desire to have more, ie selfish, greedy. The last 3 1/2 years of the Mark the government will kill you if you don't take it.

This verse is clear that no person can cause you to lose your Salvation. This says absolutely nothing about a person choosing to fall away from it themselves. Just because someone chooses Salvation does not mean they can't walk away from it themselves by the choices they freely choose to make.

God gives us two very distinct clues as to what the mark is, so that His Children are not left ignorant of it. 1) You can buy and sell with it, and 2) it goes into the right hand or forehead. Any Christian who ignores these two clues and takes a mark, are going to be decieved and tricked into taking the Mark of the Beast.

I think, when they bring the Mark out...it will probably be after a national (or global) crisis situation, and many will be flocking to governmental aid stations, which will be a trick.
It may be hard to resist the urge to not go to aid stations. It will be the time to be totally dependant upon the Lord. No Red Cross! Wooden cross.
Plenty examples in scripture of the Lord feeding the people. Birds bringing food, manna from heaven, food multiplication. ..have faith!

Very well stated, but we have already received the mark, for the scripture says the ALL receive the mark, and we all look to its image, for the image of the beast is the image of a man hanging upon a cross.

WHAT?? No. You can't leave this dangling that way. You may intend something good and perfectly pure, but as it reads it needs further explanation because it can be read to decry Christianity as a whole.

I believe this site still has a search engine, although I find I difficult to use at times. This is from a previous post years ago.

I often wonder if the church has not in fact taken the image of the man Jesus, and have made that image their God?” Now just to be clear, the image I am speaking of is not that of a picture or a painting, a cross or a statue; these things are superficial. The image I am referring to is the image we hold in our hearts. When we think of God, what image comes to mind? Is it the image of the man Jesus hung on a cross? And if so, then have we not taken the image of a man and made him our God? But God is a Spirit, and must be worshiped in Spirit and in Truth.

The church has taken the image of the man Jesus, who spoke the Word of God, and who was crucified for our sins, and have made that image into their God. They bring the people to the alter where they accept the sacrifice of Jesus for the redemption of sins, and then take the image of their savior, a dead man on a cross, and make him their God. The church demands obedience to the flesh while you wait for your Lord’s return; but the return of the Lord that the church would teach you is that of the Son of Man, and so you wait for your image of God to return.

But the image of the Son of Man, the man Jesus was not one of glory, but of humility. The image of the man Jesus was that of a brother, and that of a humble servant. The man Jesus never sought adoration, and made every attempt to avoid it. The man Jesus worshiped the Father, and taught other men to do so to. When the man Jesus performed miracles, all the praise and glory went to God, and he kept none for himself. This is the true image of the man Jesus.

But there are two sides to the cross, while the church binds you to the death of Christ, there is another image of Christ: The image of his resurrection. It is an image that holds no form, and it is Spirit. We are called a new creation in Christ, buried with him in his crucifixion, and yet made alive by his resurrection. A new living creature, born again as a living Spirit, yet concealed behind the outer mask that would reveal our death. In the image of His resurrection, we walk by Faith while Christ is formed in us. (Gal 4:19)

We were created in the image of God, and we are made alive in the image of Christ, an image with no form, a living Spirit; and we are formed in the image of Christ. But if you hear the Words of Jesus, and follow the Commandments of God, then you would see that you have become the image of Christ borne in the flesh, after the image of a man, in the image of a brother, and in the image of a humble servant; a living Spirit and a son of God. If I were to think on what image the church teaches concerning his return, then I suppose I might just want to look in a mirror.

The Jews looked for the return of Elijah, but it was John the Baptist who came in the Spirit of Elijah; and as Jesus added, those with an ear let them hear what the spirit saith unto you. The Christians look for the return of a man, a man to be their king; but he too comes in the Spirit for those who walk in Faith.

The church would keep you bound to obedience in the face of sin awaiting the return of their God, in the image of a man, and bound to the death of Christ. Jesus condemned the Pharisees when he said you don’t enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, and you are preventing those who would enter; the same message might stand for the church today. As it says in the book Corinthians, as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Many people wonder about the beast of Revelations 13, and fear the mark of the beast? But the scripture says that all receive the mark, both free and bond, rich and poor. But here is wisdom, the mark bears an image, and it is the image of a man, for we have all been marked by the Crucifixion of Christ, and we all bear in our bodies the image of His death. But those who are borne of the Spirit, not only bear the image of the death of Christ by their flesh, but also the image of the resurrection in Christ by their Spirit.

The mark of the beast that you are marked with is the death of Christ; His crucifixion. It is the Mark of Death. For ALL have been marked by his death. Some will rise to the resurrection of everlasting life, while the rest will rise to the resurrection of damnation & death (John 5:29).
They still continue on following after the Covenant with Death (ie. the old covenant, the covenant with Moses).

Isaiah 28:15-18
Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death,
and with hell are we at agreement;
when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us:
for we have made lies our refuge,
and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
Therefore thus saith the Lord God,
Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone,
a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation:
he that believeth shall not make haste.
Judgment also will I lay to the line,
and righteousness to the plummet:
and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies,
and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
And your covenant with death shall be disannulled,
and your agreement with hell shall not stand;
when the overflowing scourge shall pass through,
then ye shall be trodden down by it.

Galatians 6:17
From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

The beast keeps you bound under the old covenant as you worship the image of a man hung upon a cross so that you would continue to use the blood of his sacrifice over and over again to cover and cleanse your sins; But then keeps you blinded to the promises that Christ has delivered on when He established and confirmed the New Covenant in His Blood. A covenant for everlasting life, but instead they serve death.

The scripture is full of images: the image of the beast, the image of a humble servant, the image of the wheat and the tares, the image of the two Jerusalem's, the image of the good seed, and an image of the children of disobedience. The image of the death of Christ and the image of the resurrection of Christ. There is the resurrection to life, and there is a resurrection to death (John 5:29).

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

All of these images are instructive, but in the end they boil down to these two images, the image of the resurrection of Christ, or the image of the death of Christ. These are the images we hold in our hearts when we worship.

So lets look closer at the image of the death of Christ and of the resurrection to damnation/death. I will point out once again, that the image of the death of Christ is the image of a man. They worship the crucifixion, the image of a dying man, the last image of the humble servant. These are the children of disobedience, they have taken the image of a man and have made him their God. They have come to the knowledge of Christ, but not his Faith. They hold fast to the works he performed on the cross, and believe that their sins will be forgiven, but in the resurrection of death, they find themselves still subject to death. So while they wait for the return of their Lord in the image of the Son of Man, they set out to perfect themselves, so that the Lord will find them worthy when he comes, but instead they become obedient unto death. And because there just wasn’t enough things in the Bible to be declared as a sin, they create new sins for themselves daily (is it a sin to watch TV?, is it a sin if I listen to heavy metal or hip hop?). Then when they fall short, they are faithful to confess their sins to Jesus so they can be made clean again by the blood of the Lamb, and they bear in themselves the image of the death of Christ, and though they have been entered into the death of Christ, they have not yet embraced their own death through Christ. The scripture tells us that Christ died once for all, and that through his death, he hath put down sin and death (Rom 6:6, Rom 8:2) that we should no longer serve them. But serve them they do, and in their obedience, they bring again the sins of their dead works before the Lord, and in doing so, they crucify the Son of God afresh, and do put him to open shame.

Heb 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and do put him to an open shame.

Ezrider are you saying that if we ever sin again we cannot confess our sins and cannot be forgiven?
When I think of Jesus I see Him in His throne in all His glory. It is only when I read of His suffering and the cross that I see Him like that.
It does say there will be rejoicing when anyone returns to God.

This is interesting. I have never heard or read any scripture that would suggest such a method of roll out.
It was always my view, from scripture, that the anti Christ would implement the mark when he was in power. Never have I read of any ramping up of the consequential limits and permissions it will impose.

This verse is clear that no person can cause you to lose your Salvation. This says absolutely nothing about a person choosing to fall away from it themselves. Just because someone chooses Salvation does not mean they can't walk away from it themselves by the choices they freely choose to make.
I am not settled on my view on this issue. I believe that there would have to be some conscious effort to leave the family of God. Look at the prodigal son.

God gives us two very distinct clues as to what the mark is, so that His Children are not left ignorant of it. 1) You can buy and sell with it, and
It's dangerous, IMO, to flip negative and positives in text. The Bible doesn't say that you can buy and sell with it. The Bible says that you cannot buy and sell without it.

2) it goes into the right hand or forehead. Any Christian who ignores these two clues and takes a mark, are going to be deceived and tricked into taking the Mark of the Beast.
I totally agree, with this point and, if I understand you correctly, your points overall. Christians should be well aware of the step they are taking when the mark is given. They should understand that it is the mark spoke about and avoid taking it even unto death.
