Do you believe in Aliens ?

My point is that God probably has other children elsewhere. Heck, there could even be Aliens on the moon, but if he doesn't want us to bring them to sin, or for them to bring sin to us, he can easily our presences from each other. My point is that Humans messed up big time, and it's probably not unlikely that the Lord made a more worthy race of creatures that he's hiding from us so we cannot corrupt them.
 
Mike to your question below, as my replies either take days to get posted, if a tall as you know so only your case can be presented.. firstly im surprised it only takes a combination of 25 things to be in place, for life to exist,

For myself God is infinite in power and wisdom, if he so choose to create life, through out the Galaxy he could,

im not saying God has but he could.

for myself also, i take the line, much of the alien equation, could well be a demonic deception.?

but i do not want to throw the baby out with the bath water, we know life exists out side of this realm, in the heavenly realm,

i wonder to if technology in this realm, also far surpasses our own,

Phil Schneider describes while constructing under ground bases, for the US government, they tunneled into an under ground Alien base. a fire fight followed, a lot of people were killed, he was hit in the stomach, also lost fingers of one hand.

God said he thought about that very "solution" -- and he almost wiped us out with the flood and all, but then He is not a man so that He should lie, and He considered HIS PROMISE more than what we deserved. That's why Jesus came. He is our redeemer so that God doesn't have to hide some "worthy race" from us (and our corruption). We are required to believe in Jesus, so that we can be saved. I personally wouldn't hold out any hope that God made an alien race to cover the bases just in case the Plan He had in mind from the beginning (Jesus) didn't work.
 
UFO's

Are there races created by God out on planets in outer space? The bible mentions the angels and that’s all. They are aliens that live in outer space. Just not what we usually think of when we think of aliens from outer space. People today think of Spock and other assorted aliens of like nature. Are there aliens in outer space? We should be honest and say we don’t know, except for the angels. And only those who believe in the bible believe in the existence of these aliens. The argument from silence in the bible, or that creation has been affected by the fall of man, doesn’t really tell us much in regard to aliens.

The bible doesn’t tell us what we want to know, but what we need to know. There’s not a single mention of cockroaches in the bible. As far as how they affect us and how we’re to deal with them is totally in our hands. The bible tells us nothing about how to get them out of our house. It may be something that we want to know. But apparently God chose to let us handle them ourselves. We are, after all, supposed to be over all the creatures of the earth.

Have aliens ever visited this planet? Go to YouTube and punch in Neil Tyson talks about ufos. Neil deGrasse Tyson is an Astrophysicist. Choose the one that says “Neil Tyson talks about UFOs and the argument from ignoranceâ€. It’s a short ten minute clip, and he actually talks about three points on the matter in a very entertaining way. I fully agree with his open minded point of view.

For anyone who is convinced that there MUST be intelligent life elsewhere in the universe, I urge you to watch this video. It's long. I own the DVD, and I'm surprised It's available in its uncut full length free on the internet. Yeah, it's an hour long.

Skootaloo and Johnny, I'm thinking of you, especially. If anyone is in to this subject enough to devote the time, I think this will be very interesting. You could mark your spot and watch it in segments.

It's called, "A Privileged Planet", and the premise is that there are about 25 very delicate tunings that must be perfectly set in order for life to be even remotely possible. If any single setting is off even a little, life becomes impossible. It speaks to the notion that, statistically, there "must be life out there because of the size of the universe". Our planet is in the perfect place in the arm of the Milky Way to sustain life, close enough to the center of it so that we can study the universe, but far enough so that it is not sucked into it and destroyed.

I'm watching it now. One of the interesting things (to me) was the assignment of value (or rarity) to the factors needed for a habitable planet, called in the video, "The Goldilocks" or "Just-right Zone".

The video listed many (perhaps not all) factors needed and then made a conservative estimate for the odds. I'd say, at least for some of the requirements such as having a liquid iron core for the generation of a magnetic field or the requirement of movable plates (plate tectonics) on the surface or the ratio of liquid water to land mass (let alone the presence of water in a liquid state) would be easily estimated to be greater than 1:10.

:chin Really? One in ten planets have oceans? That's not what they said and I know they were trying to use conservative estimates but still... Also, one in ten planets have a magnetic field large enough to shield the planet? The numbers have got to be larger than that!

I'd be interested in having realistic or "best-guess" estimates produced so that we could have a fair statement about the odds of life on another planet. Clearly, with probabilities of planets orbiting 100 billion stars in the Galaxy and all, there is no need to stack the odds that way. Still, the point is the point.

Thanks again for posting, I'll be going back to watch the rest - I'm about 1/3rd through now.

Some feel this phenomenon is real and important, and put forward a conservative case, saying this subject has not been adequately explained.

Gods sovereignty was challenged by his created ones here on earth but the challenge affects all who are his creation and we know of some names of spirit creatures from scripture. That is the limit of what he tells us. My concern when waiting for Christs return and being aware that the false Christs and the Anti-Christ are to arrive is that Satan could use these reasonings to introduce a false Christ from peoples desire to have aliens. We may then be fooled to walking behind a false Christ
 
I posted this in another thread, but it definitely applies.

There are around 1,000,000,000,000 galaxies in the observable universe. Each galaxy also contains around 1,000,000,000,000 stars. Thus, there are an estimated 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars. There is a high probability that each star system contains one more more planets. Even with a tiny probability of life occurring per planet, there is most likely a gargantuan amount of intelligent life in our cosmos.
