"Then comes the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have PUT DOWN all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has PUT all enemies UNDER HIS FEET. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For He hath PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says all things are PUT UNDER Him, it is manifest that He is excepted, which did PUT all things UNDER HIM. And when ALL THINGS shall be SUBDUED UNTO Him, then shall the Son also Himself BE SUBJECT unto Him that PUT ALL THINGS under Him, that God may be all in all" (I Cor. 15:24-28).

In the 27th and 28th verses one single verb meaning "put in subjection" is used six times. It is variously translated as "put under," "subdues," and "be subject." Paul chooses this word to make clear his meaning that ALL THINGS IN THE UNIVERSE are to be brought INTO SUBJECTION to God. To bring into subjection is to bring into obedience. There can be no reconciliation, no harmony, no orderly Kingdom, no "God all in all" without a subjugation; and as God accepts nothing but a willing obedience, He plans to bring ALL to a willing obedience to His will. God does not make anyone do anything. But He certainly knows how to "make" us WILLING! God didn't "make" Jonah go to Nineveh, but He DID MAKE HIM WILLING to go!
The REST of the story.....since youve yet again RIPPED two verses out of context to push your fallacies.

Resurrection
This study will be about the different aspects of final resurrection. We will be looking at different passages in God's word and seeing how they fit together to determine what we can expect at resurrection.

1.0
Here firstly is a wonderfully clear passage from 1 Corinthians 15 that lays out a very details picture about resurrection of the dead and how this resurrection by Christ of all men defeats 'death' (of these bodies).
Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain and your faith also is vain! And we are found to be false witnesses of God, because we bore witness concerning God, that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise--if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then neither has Christ been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have died in Christ have perished.

If in this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. But now Christ has been raised from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have died. For since by a man death came, also by a Man comes the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then those who belong to Christ at His coming. Then will be the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God, even the Father, when He abolishes every ruler and every authority and power. For He must reign till He puts all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death. For "He has subjected all things under His feet." But when He says that "all things have been subjected," it is evident that this is except for Him who subjected all things to Him.

Now when all things are made subject to Him, then also the Son Himself will be subjected to Him who subjected all things to Him, in order that God may be all in all. Otherwise, what will they do who are being baptized for the dead, if the dead are not raised at all? Why are they also baptized for the dead? And why are we also in danger every hour? I affirm, by my boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. If, in the manner of men, I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what is the benefit to me? If the dead are not raised, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!" Do not be deceived: "Evil associations corrupts good habits." Awake to righteousness, and do not sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

But someone will say, "How are the dead raised? And with what sort of body do they come?" Fool, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that will be, but a bare grain--perhaps wheat or some other grains. But God gives to it a body just as He desired, and to each of the seeds its own body. All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is a different kind of flesh for men, and another flesh for beasts, another for fish, and another for birds. And there are celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.

So also is the resurrection of the dead.
The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.
It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory.
It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.
It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Thus also it is written, "The first man Adam became a living soul;" the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, that which is spiritual is not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.
(1Co 15:12-46 EMTV)
We see in this previous passage that resurrection is the reviving of our bodies from the corruptible into the incorruptible. We will be raised with spiritual bodies instead of these worn down shells that are prone to sickness and death.

2.0
Eternal outcomes.

And this is what we will be resurrected TO...
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth;
they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;
and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
(Joh 5)

Oh! the beauty of God's plan of the ages! "Salvation is of the Lord" (Jonah 2:9). It is a fundamental and wonderful fact that salvation is of the Lord and not man, but the Lord does not save all in this age.
Fallacious.
Man DOES play a part in salvation, otherwise a huge part of scripture warning man to obey God and not fall away would be entirely meaningless.

Why not? He does save some; and if He saves some, why not others?
umm....because they hate Him and dont want to be saved ? :confused

Is it because they are too sinful and depraved?
...or maybe because they refuse to REPENT ?
No; for the apostle wrote, "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief" (I Tim. 1:15).
Paul REPENTED, friend...not even a good example.

Therefore, if God saved the "chief" of sinners, none are excluded because of their depravity. Why then does God not now save all?
see above.
SAlvation REQUIRES willingly repenting...something that scripture shows that MANY will not do...even when facing Gods wrath they still will curse Him.
And men were burned with severe burns, and men blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent to give Him glory.
(Revelation 16:9 EMTV)

Then the fifth one poured out his bowl on the throne of the Beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues from the pain. They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their ulcers, and they did not repent of their works.
(Revelation 16:10-11 EMTV)
And you people think that even in hell they are going to repent ?
Not according to what we see here, they arent.

Show me where it says Revelation is literal besides your preconceived creed?

If it the Book of Revelation is literal; line and verse please.

John was in spirit on the Lord ’s Day; He was looking a literal church; but a spiritual church. All that you have post is symbolic in nature; this is what God’s Word declares unless you can show me where it is literal?

Revelations 1:1
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass (not 2000 years); and he sent and signified (signs and symbols) it by his angel (messenger) unto his servant John:

John was in Spirit on the Lord’s Day; this makes the Revelation a spiritual book; not literal, not carnal, not prophetic. Revelation or the unveiling of Jesus Christ; it is the most spiritual Book in all the Bible; and I always put Genesis in second place. It is a book full of hidden spiritual symbolisms and for those who have the spiritual eyes or ears to see or hear it.

This one little word is so reverent to the whole book Revelations; ‘signified†or signs and symbols. The Book Revelations can only be understood but as a very deep and awesome spiritual book by using signs and symbols that can only be found in the Bible. Where do you find these signs and symbols; all thought the Bible; written yes by the hands of deep spiritual men from many ages.

The Book of Revelation is all symbolic and spiritual not literal, unless you can back it up with God's Word which you cannot and will not; all you have is asumption and spin..

But what else is new? :crazy

Follower,
It is quite the enigma, just about anything else here can be discussed except the possibility that God really does love all people and someday will bring all of creation to Himself(Col.1:20).

Oh for pities sake...this nonsense again ?
Jesus Christ IS LITERAL....
GOD is LITERAL
ANGELS are LITERAL
ALL of those are mentioned in Revelation, friend, thus your point is without point...

If it the Book of Revelation is literal; line and verse please.
Ill list where the LITERAL persons of God / Jesus Christ are mentioned and you will either agree that these ARE referring to a LITERAL being...or you will have to claim that our faith is based in fantasy.... :)

Huh...Jesus.....guess He isnt literal :confused :screwloose

(Revelation 1:1 EMTV) The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show His servants the things which must come to pass quickly. And He made it known by sending it through His angel to His servant John,

(Revelation 1:2 EMTV) who testified to the word of God, and the testimony of Jesus Christ, as many things as He saw, both the things that are and those that must happen after these.

(Revelation 1:5 EMTV) and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and who washed us from our sins in His own blood,

(Revelation 1:9 EMTV) I, John, your brother and partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in Christ Jesus, came to be on the island that is called Patmos on account of the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

(Revelation 12:17 EMTV) And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went off to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus.

(Revelation 14:4 EMTV) These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever He may go. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

(Revelation 14:12 EMTV) Here is the endurance of the saints; those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

(Revelation 17:6 EMTV) I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

(Revelation 19:10 EMTV) And I fell before his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

(Revelation 20:4 EMTV) And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who had been beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus, and on account of the word of God, and those who had not worshipped the Beast or his image, and they did not receive the mark on their forehead or on their hand. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for the thousand years.

(Revelation 22:16 EMTV) I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify these things to you for the churches. I am the Root and the Stock of David, the Bright and Morning Star."

(Revelation 22:20 EMTV) He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus!

(Revelation 22:21 EMTV) The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.

(Revelation 1:6 EMTV) and He made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

(Revelation 1:8 EMTV) "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "He who is and He who was and He who is to come, The Almighty."

(Revelation 1:9 EMTV) I, John, your brother and partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in Christ Jesus, came to be on the island that is called Patmos on account of the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

(Revelation 2:7 EMTV) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of My God." '

(Revelation 2:18 EMTV) "And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, 'These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:

(Revelation 3:1 EMTV) "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, 'These things says He that has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name, that you live, and you are dead.

(Revelation 3:2 EMTV) Be watchful, and keep that which remains, which you were about to cast out, for I have not found your works perfect before My God.

(Revelation 3:12 EMTV) He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and by no means shall he go out any longer. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from heaven from My God. And My new name.

(Revelation 3:14 EMTV) "And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write, 'These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the beginning of the creation of God:

(Revelation 4:5 EMTV) And from the throne proceeded lightnings and voices and thunders. And seven torches of fire were burning before His throne, which are seven spirits of God;

(Revelation 4:8 EMTV) And the four living beings, each one having six wings apiece, were full of eyes around and within. And they never rest day or night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Holy, holy, holy, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, He who was, and who is, and who is to come!"

(Revelation 4:11 EMTV) "You are worthy, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because You created all things, and by Your will they existed and they were created."

(Revelation 5:6 EMTV) And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living beings, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

(Revelation 5:9 EMTV) And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; because You were slain, and You redeemed us to God by Your blood, out of every tribe and language and people and nation;

(Revelation 5:10 EMTV) and have made them kings and priests to our God; and they will reign on the earth."

(Revelation 6:9 EMTV) And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.

(Revelation 7:2 EMTV) Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it had been granted to harm the earth and the sea,

(Revelation 7:3 EMTV) saying, "Do not harm the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we shall seal the servants of our God on their foreheads."

(Revelation 7:10 EMTV) And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God, to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

(Revelation 7:11 EMTV) And all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living beings, and they fell down on their faces before His throne and they worshipped God,

(Revelation 7:12 EMTV) saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen."

(Revelation 7:15 EMTV) Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple. And He that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.

(Revelation 7:17 EMTV) because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and He leads them to the springs of the waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

(Revelation 8:2 EMTV) And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

(Revelation 8:4 EMTV) And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of the saints out of the hand of the angel before God.

(Revelation 9:4 EMTV) They were told not to harm the grass of the earth, nor any plant, nor any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

(Revelation 9:13 EMTV) Then the sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

(Revelation 10:7 EMTV) but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, whenever he is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

(Revelation 11:1 EMTV) Then a reed was given to me like a rod, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship in it.

(Revelation 11:11 EMTV) Now after the three-and-a-half days, the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who were watching them.

(Revelation 11:13 EMTV) In that day there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand men were killed. And the rest became fearful and gave glory to the God of heaven.

(Revelation 11:16 EMTV) And the twenty-four elders, those before the throne of God who sit on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshipped God,

(Revelation 11:17 EMTV) saying: "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign.

(Revelation 11:19 EMTV) Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord appeared in His temple. And there were lightnings and voices and thunders, and great hail.

(Revelation 12:5 EMTV) And she gave birth to a Son, a male who would shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. And her Child was caught up to God and to His throne.

(Revelation 12:6 EMTV) Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place having been prepared by God, so that they may nourish her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

(Revelation 12:10 EMTV) Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because the accuser of our brothers, the one who accused them before our God day and night, has been thrown out of heaven.

(Revelation 12:17 EMTV) And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went off to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus.

(Revelation 13:6 EMTV) Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His dwelling, and those who dwell in heaven.

(Revelation 14:4 EMTV) These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever He may go. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

(Revelation 14:10 EMTV) then he shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out undiluted in the cup of His wrath. And they shall be tormented with fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb.

(Revelation 14:12 EMTV) Here is the endurance of the saints; those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

(Revelation 14:19 EMTV) So the angel threw out his sickle to the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and he threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

continued..

(Revelation 15:1 EMTV) Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, because in them the wrath of God has been completed.

(Revelation 15:2 EMTV) And I saw something like a glassy sea having been mixed with fire, and those who prevailed over the Beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, standing on the glassy sea, having the harps of God.

(Revelation 15:3 EMTV) And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O King of the nations!

(Revelation 15:7 EMTV) Then one of the four living beings gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.

(Revelation 15:8 EMTV) And the temple was filled by the smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

(Revelation 16:1 EMTV) Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth."

(Revelation 16:7 EMTV) And I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments."

(Revelation 16:9 EMTV) And men were burned with severe burns, and men blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent to give Him glory.

(Revelation 16:11 EMTV) They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their ulcers, and they did not repent of their works.

(Revelation 16:14 EMTV) For they are spirits of demons performing signs, which go forth to the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

(Revelation 16:19 EMTV) Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the rage of His wrath.

(Revelation 16:21 EMTV) And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone weighing a talent. And men blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, since this plague was exceedingly severe.

(Revelation 17:17 EMTV) For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the Beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

(Revelation 18:5 EMTV) Because her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.

(Revelation 18:8 EMTV) "On account of this her plagues will come in one day--death, sorrow, and famine. And she shall be burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who has judged her.

(Revelation 18:20 EMTV) "Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, because God has pronounced judgment for you against her!"

(Revelation 19:1 EMTV) After these things I heard as it were a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God!

(Revelation 19:4 EMTV) And the twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell down and worshipped God who sits on the throne, saying, "Amen! Hallelujah!"

(Revelation 19:5 EMTV) Then a voice came from the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!"

(Revelation 19:6 EMTV) And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, and like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of mighty thunders, saying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord God Almighty has begun to reign!

(Revelation 19:9 EMTV) Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb!' " And he said to me, "These are the true words of God."

(Revelation 19:10 EMTV) And I fell before his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

(Revelation 19:13 EMTV) And He is clothed in a robe having been dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

(Revelation 19:15 EMTV) And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, so that with it He might strike the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the wrath of Almighty God.

(Revelation 19:17 EMTV) Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the great supper of God,

(Revelation 20:6 EMTV) Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection. Over these the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him for a thousand years.

(Revelation 20:9 EMTV) They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.

(Revelation 21:2 EMTV) Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having been prepared like a bride having been adorned for her husband.

(Revelation 21:3 EMTV) And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them.

(Revelation 21:7 EMTV) He that overcomes I shall give to him these things, and I shall be God to him, and he shall be to Me a son.

(Revelation 21:10 EMTV) And he carried me away in spirit onto a great and high mountain, and he showed to me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

(Revelation 21:11 EMTV) having the glory of God. Its radiance was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal,

(Revelation 21:22 EMTV) But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, also the Lamb.

(Revelation 21:23 EMTV) The city had no need of the sun nor of the moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

(Revelation 22:1 EMTV) And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

(Revelation 22:3 EMTV) And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants will minister to Him.

(Revelation 22:5 EMTV) And night shall not exist. and there shall not be a need of a lamp and of light, because the Lord God shall illuminate them. And they shall reign forever and ever.

(Revelation 22:6 EMTV) Then he said to me, "These words are faithful and true." And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must happen quickly.

(Revelation 22:9 EMTV) Then he said to me, "See that you do not! For I am your fellow servant, and I am of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."

(Revelation 22:18 EMTV) I testify to everyone hearing the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues having been written in this book.

(Revelation 22:19 EMTV) And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of Life, and from the holy city, and from the things having been written in this book.

So whats your claim, benoni...that GOD and JESUS are FICTITIOUS characters in Revelation ? ;)

If they ARENT then Revelation ISNT what you seem to believe.
It is a VISION of FUTURE events....that John says that he was in the spirit does NOT INDICATE that NOTHING in Revelation is LITERAL....as Ive just proven that there ARE literal aspects to the writing..... :)

Oh...I forget the LITERAL beings called 'angels' mentioned in Revelation :)

(Revelation 1:1 EMTV) The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show His servants the things which must come to pass quickly. And He made it known by sending it through His angel to His servant John,

(Revelation 1:20 EMTV) The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.

(Revelation 2:1 EMTV) "To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, 'These things says He that holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:

(Revelation 2:8 EMTV) "And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, 'These things says the First and the Last, who became dead, and came to life:

(Revelation 2:12 EMTV) "And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, 'These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword:

(Revelation 2:18 EMTV) "And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, 'These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:

(Revelation 3:1 EMTV) "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, 'These things says He that has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name, that you live, and you are dead.

(Revelation 3:5 EMTV) He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and by no means shall I erase his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

(Revelation 3:7 EMTV) "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says the Holy One, the True One, " He who has the key of David, He that opens and no man shuts, except He that opens, and no man shall open."

(Revelation 3:14 EMTV) "And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write, 'These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the beginning of the creation of God:

(Revelation 5:2 EMTV) Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?"

(Revelation 5:11 EMTV) Then I looked, and I heard as it were the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living beings, and the elders. And the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and a thousand thousands,

(Revelation 7:1 EMTV) And after this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that a wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

(Revelation 7:2 EMTV) Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it had been granted to harm the earth and the sea,

(Revelation 7:11 EMTV) And all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living beings, and they fell down on their faces before His throne and they worshipped God,

(Revelation 8:2 EMTV) And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

(Revelation 8:3 EMTV) Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. And much incense was given to him, so that he could offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which is before the throne.

(Revelation 8:4 EMTV) And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of the saints out of the hand of the angel before God.

(Revelation 8:5 EMTV) And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and he cast it to the earth. And there were thunders and voices and lightnings and an earthquake.

(Revelation 8:6 EMTV) So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound the trumpets.

(Revelation 8:8 EMTV) Then the second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a great burning mountain was cast into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.

(Revelation 8:10 EMTV) Then the third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water.

(Revelation 8:12 EMTV) Then the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them was darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.

(Revelation 8:13 EMTV) And I saw, and I heard an eagle flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe for those who dwell on the earth, from the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are to sound their trumpets!"

(Revelation 9:1 EMTV) Then the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star having fallen out of heaven, to the earth. And the key of the shaft of the bottomless pit was given to him.

(Revelation 9:11 EMTV) having as a king over them the angel of the bottomless pit; whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

(Revelation 9:13 EMTV) Then the sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

(Revelation 9:14 EMTV) saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels having been bound at the great river Euphrates."

(Revelation 9:15 EMTV) So the four angels were released, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, so that they might kill a third of mankind.

(Revelation 10:1 EMTV) And I saw a mighty angel coming down from heaven, having been clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow on his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire,

(Revelation 10:5 EMTV) And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven

(Revelation 10:7 EMTV) but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, whenever he is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

(Revelation 10:8 EMTV) Then the voice which I heard from heaven was speaking with me again and saying, "Go, take the little scroll which was open in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and on the land."

(Revelation 10:9 EMTV) And I went to the angel, saying to him to give to me the little scroll. And he said to me, "Take it and eat it up; and it shall make your stomach bitter, but it shall be as sweet as honey in your mouth."

(Revelation 10:10 EMTV) Then I took the scroll out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. And when I ate it, my stomach was made bitter.

(Revelation 11:15 EMTV) Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of this world have become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"

(Revelation 12:7 EMTV) And there came to be war in heaven: Michael and his angels, waging war with the dragon; and the dragon made war, and his angels,

(Revelation 12:9 EMTV) And the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

(Revelation 14:6 EMTV) Then I saw an angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people,

(Revelation 14:8 EMTV) And another, a second angel followed, saying, "Babylon the great has fallen. From the wine of the wrath of her fornication, she has made all the nations to drink."

(Revelation 14:9 EMTV) Then another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the Beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

(Revelation 14:10 EMTV) then he shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out undiluted in the cup of His wrath. And they shall be tormented with fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb.

(Revelation 14:15 EMTV) And another angel came out of the temple, crying out with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle and reap, because the time has come to reap, because the harvest of the earth has withered."

(Revelation 14:17 EMTV) Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

(Revelation 14:18 EMTV) And another angel came out from the altar, having authority over the fire, and he called with a loud cry to the one having the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the grape clusters of the vine of the earth, because the grapes are ripe."

(Revelation 14:19 EMTV) So the angel threw out his sickle to the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and he threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

(Revelation 15:1 EMTV) Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, because in them the wrath of God has been completed.

(Revelation 15:6 EMTV) And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, who were dressed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden belts.

(Revelation 16:3 EMTV) Then the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living thing in the sea died.

(Revelation 16:5 EMTV) And I heard the angel of the waters saying: "You are righteous, the One who is, and who was, holy, because You have judged these things.

(Revelation 16:17 EMTV) Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It has been done!"

(Revelation 17:1 EMTV) Then one of the seven angels having the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,

(Revelation 17:7 EMTV) But the angel said to me, "Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the Beast carrying her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

(Revelation 18:1 EMTV) After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was lit up from his splendor.

(Revelation 18:21 EMTV) Then a mighty angel picked up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence Babylon the great city shall be cast down, and shall by no means be found anymore.

(Revelation 19:17 EMTV) Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the great supper of God,

(Revelation 20:1 EMTV) Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

(Revelation 21:9 EMTV) Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls being full with the seven last plagues came to me and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the wife, the bride of the Lamb."

(Revelation 21:12 EMTV) having a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel:

(Revelation 21:17 EMTV) And its wall is one hundred and forty-four cubits, by the measure of a man, which is, of an angel.

(Revelation 22:6 EMTV) Then he said to me, "These words are faithful and true." And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must happen quickly.

(Revelation 22:8 EMTV) And I, John, am the one hearing and seeing these things. And when I heard and when I saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel showing to me these things.

(Revelation 22:16 EMTV) I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify these things to you for the churches. I am the Root and the Stock of David, the Bright and Morning Star."

And let me ask...are yoiu AGAIN preaching the forbidden topic of Universalism here benoni ?
?
I dont mind either way, but for some reason UR doesnt seem to be allowed here.

Follower,
It is quite the enigma, just about anything else here can be discussed except the possibility that God really does love all people and someday will bring all of creation to Himself(Col.1:20).
Bubba
Not really my concern.
All I know is that we have been warned about the topic of UR.
If Im expected to obey the rules here, so are you... :)

“and they shall come forth; those who did the good things to a rising again of life, and those who practised the evil things to a rising again of judgment.†(YLT).

Follower,
You will not find “damnation†in The Greek, another bias of our English translation. I believe all of God’s judgments are for the good of man and if I am right, what does this verse from John now say?
Bubba

And men were burned with severe burns, and men blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent to give Him glory.
(Revelation 16:9 EMTV)

Then the fifth one poured out his bowl on the throne of the Beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues from the pain. They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their ulcers, and they did not repent of their works.
(Revelation 16:10-11 EMTV)
Follower,
Many including myself see the Revelation as written prior to 70 AD, but if you take a later writing of 90 AD you nonetheless have at least two ways to view these passages. The first is, this was written during the early church under Nero prior to the Fall of Jerusalem and second, this is the church under Domitian (worst then Nero). I take the former view and those spoken of here are those who were alive at the Fall of Jerusalem. The second view good be judgment upon Rome, an example of at least a partial judgment would be Pompeii. Since all of the Revelation is not chronological, it could be a cyclic judgment upon the unbeliever since the Cross, until the end of the age of Gentiles.

What does UR mean?

I am a Christian Universalist. It is what I believe

Any way you look at it Revelation is a spiritual and symbolic book and no where in God's Word does it say anything about being literal.

The letter killeth.

This is God's Word that declares this not my spin or opinion.

Oh...I forget the LITERAL beings called 'angels' mentioned in Revelation

This has been explained to you before; what you need to show me is where does it say the Book of Revelation is literal; seeing God's Word declares contray to your opinion.

This is all true; but this was never my point. Show me where the Book of Revelation is literal? Seeing God's word declares contrary to your literal view?

How can you have a symbolic message without a sign. The whole book of revelation is a symbolic revelation of Jesus Christ; it is called the revelation of Jesus Christ or the the unveiling of Jesus Chrsit.

John was in spirit on the Lord's day. Read the first verse.

Amen.

(Revelation 4:5 EMTV) And from the throne proceeded lightnings and voices and thunders. And seven torches of fire were burning before His throne, which are seven spirits of God;

(Revelation 5:9 EMTV) And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; because You were slain, and You redeemed us to God by Your blood, out of every tribe and language and people and nation;
