There is more obvious evidence for covid perhaps?People have not literlaly seen God and so becauase they have not seen they do not believe and that is a perfectly accepted opinion.
People have not literally seen 19 and so because they have not seen they do not believe and that is a unaccepted opinion. Everyone fears and believes 19.
There is more obvious evidence for covid perhaps?
News reports.Aside from bio scientists with a microscope they are the only one who possible have seen this exact 19 virus and the people believe what they say so they have faith ad trust in that person. And thats fine.
I'm not going to allow myself to get into yet another political bashing. I've have enough, I don't like how I've behaved, and I don't like the effect it has on friendships. Have a nice day. When was the last time you criticised Trump or a Trump policy? I haven't read one yet. Those who identify as moderate may not realise , they are anything but.
My wife's SS disability is taxed also. Taxing social security is double taxation, one of the primary reasons for the revolutionary war that separated us from the King's influence. Why we continue to allow this is beyond me.you only know what the media says or the internet tells you
i will use my own first hand knowledge what the media doesn't say much about on Medicare and social security
one ,I work ,I make and have made enough a few times ,my,wife's disability is taxed.my parents both on it ,are taxed because they saved and mom pension is that much but she isn't even a millionaire ,they don't make combined over 80 grand a year ,perhaps 60 at the most .I'm not much lower then that ,because of the left's love of taxation ,persons like us who saved,or receive trust money despite said income pay more in income taxes . my dad has earmy signs of dementia and has been disabled before my mom retired .
Biden was in Congress both times they decided to raise taxes on ss,ssi if you make enough .common sense says you better save because out of you ss,ssi check will come your Medicare insurance fee ,something you bought by working each year and had 6.4 percent (employer matches your 3.2 percebt unless you get self employment or dividends )of your taxes paying towards .
also your Roth ira,and 401k,401a,457 k.taxed after with the later or before with the Roth ,out of your already taxed paidMy wife's SS disability is taxed also. Roth's are still tax exempt, including returns on investment....for now. It's what makes them so attractive.also your Roth ira,and 401k,401a,457 k.taxed after with the later or before with the Roth ,out of your already taxed paid
i have owed a few times for interest on 6 grand a year from trust,in part my point was that the very idea of saving is discouraged .Roth's are still tax exempt, including returns on investment....for now. It's what makes them so attractive.
Regular IRA's are taxed on the investment return or interest only because the money used to finance them comes from our net income or take-home pay which has already been taxed.
401K's are taxed on both money we input as well as investment returns because they are financed with before tax dollars.
These make sense but not the SS tax because the SS is financed by a tax. We don't put money into SS for ourselves. We put it in to finance the current withdrawals and when we retire our SS income comes from those still working. It's just a bucket everyone pitches into and then draws out from.
Another one I don't agree with is taxes on unemployment insurance. Insurance payments are not supposed to be taxed yet UC insurance has been since about the late 80's I believe.
That's where a Roth IRA comes in. Money invested in a Roth is after tax money and the earnings are tax exempt. Therefore, money withdrawn from a Roth IRA is not counted as part of one's retirement income. This can be used to lower the annual taxable income and pay lower income taxes or if something major comes up, one can use the Roth money to pay for it without raising taxable income. I wish I would have paid closer attention years ago and started investing in a Roth but I waited until I was only about three years from retiring so I don't have too much invested.i have owed a few times for interest on 6 grand a year from trust,in part my point was that the very idea of saving is discouraged .
problem is its hard to save now given how the dollar is weak ,you, pay the money going to your Roth .don't worry no income is off the table given some . I,know they floated taxing the Roth and 400 series before its saved .That's where a Roth IRA comes in. Money invested in a Roth is after tax money and the earnings are tax exempt. People have fooled themselves into thinking Social Security is a retirement plan. It was never intended to be a retirement plan, only a supplement to retirement. Personal savings or pensions are still needed unless one wants to live at about the poverty rate in retirement. It doesn't take much. As little as 4%-6% of one's income starting at about age 20, invested somewhat aggressively early on 'cause time is on your side, can add up to a rather nice nest egg for retirement by the time he/she reaches retirement age.
But you were happy to critique Biden and his policies.I'm not going to allow myself to get into yet another political bashing. I've have enough, I don't like how I've behaved, and I don't like the effect it has on friendships. Have a nice day.
No I was not happy about it. As I already pointed out, my post had nothing to do with politics. Maybe you're seeing the politics in the post but I see the hypocrisies I pointed out. Nothing more. But you were happy to critique Biden and his policies.
Biden and double standard post is what I saw. I felt some balance required. Almost no one likes sleepy Joe. I'm not sure I do either. No I was not happy about it. Here's another one. By your username you claim to be humble but here you are trying to stir the pot.
Also;Biden and double standard post is what I saw. I felt some balance required. Almost no one likes sleepy Joe. I'm not sure I do either.
The title of this thread triggered my response as did your mention of Biden. I mean you could have chosen a different example of double standards but you chose him. I think my response was justified under the circumstances.
News reports.
People getting sick. People dying.
News reports on China.
I guess I believe the news reports. Why would they tell lies about such a serious issue?
I can't see fear and anger and depression. But I can feel them . So they are real to me.
they ask us to do as they say but not as they do .Also;
Mayor of Chicago liberal gay
Nancy Pelosi liberal
BLM. liberal gays..
Seems like only liberals are capable of hypocrisy.,....
Like when someone can express a biased political opinion on here, and not get reprimanded you mean?
