False Prophet

and again, here:

Romans 11:
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
What about Romans 11? It speaks about the Jews being blinded, to the fact that Christ is the Messiah. It speaks of the grafting of the wild olive branches, which are Gentiles, into the tree of righteous Jews. While the unbelieving Jews are broken out of their tree.
The Spiritual adoption into the family of Abraham through Christ. That's what most of Romans 11 pertains too. Galatians 3:29. Romans 11:25

25For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;

thats basically what you quoted.

I was showing the reality of the Jew and the spirit of slumber/stupor put upon them, to blind them. This shows TWO parties, not just 'the blinded Jew.' It's a distinction seldom made or seen. The same distinction is shown in Acts 26:18 and 2 Cor. 4:4 AND in Mark 4:15 and all the other seed parables, for example.

The "end time" is every bit about the final destruction of the devil and his messengers. These parties are "in" the flesh temples of ALL. 1 John 3:8.

What are you talking about? Have you read the first part of 2 Corinthians 12? It's about Paul having been caught up to the 3rd heaven to receive a God given Revelation. So he wouldn't be puffed up with pride, he was given some sort of an ailment (thorn in the flesh), So he would keep himself humble and not puffed up.

You read ailment. I read "in the flesh, the messenger of Satan." Because that's what is in writing.

2 Corinthians 12:7
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

Yes, it says a thorn in the flesh.

Paul asked the Lord 3 times to remove it. So I suppose you're saying Paul was possessed by a messenger of Satan? And that the Lord refused to remove it, because He felt it was better that Paul was demon possessed?

No! That's not it at all. At best he was afflicted with a physical "Thorn in the flesh" just as Job was, but not to that degree. Of course, the Lord allowed it just as in the case of Job. In this Paul would not be puffed up, and the Lords power would show up in Paul's weakness.

2 Corinthians 12:8-9 Nasb

!8Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.10

Of course not! Having lusts/temptations/deceptions in the flesh is the condition of the flesh, and it is so because it IS subject to INTRUSION by the tempter in the FLESH temple.

Paul termed it exactly "a messenger of Satan" in his own flesh. Do with it what you please from there. There was absolutely NO NEED whatsoever to drag Satan into the equations if it was merely a physical infliction.

Paul pinpoints this even further in Gal. 4:14 showing temptation IN his flesh. Who tempts? Uh, yeah, the TEMPTER.

Any believer who has dealt with internal temptation and recognizes it to be OF the tempter should be able to work their way through this. The tempter however will NOT cooperate with that sight. That much is certain.

Paul termed it "a thorn in the flesh". Wasn't Job afflicted physically by satan himself? So, yes we absolutely do have biblical precedence on this matter.

1Jn 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
Odd how some one who most often uses JKV changes to a version that sorta supports their dogma..

Racking my brain to figure out how the verse below is future.
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Like telling your kid i bought you a car and it is even now already is it in the driveway...

Its not future reba its past present and future..

Here's a list...

We all talk about the anti-christ.
No one ever talks about the False Prophet.

Who is the False Prophet?
How does he differ from the beast out of the sea (anti-christ?).
Is he alive today?
How will we recognize him?

Will he be American?
Will he be from California?
The beast from the sea=A fallen angel currently imprisoned in the abyss. Will be released at the sounding of the 5th trump. The false prophet or beast from the land will be of mankind who acts in behalf of the angel of the abyss. The man of lawlessness Paul spoke of in 2 Thess.

A sign that can't be mistaken is Rev 11. After that testimony has been completed, (1260 days as I read), they will be killed by the beast. In those days the name will be known of the one you ask. Until then your questions on the name can't be answered by the church as no name was given, but again Rev 11 is a sign that can't be mistaken. For in those days the beast and his prophet will be in this world and a great tribulation shall come upon the whole world. At the sounding of the 7th trump call of God the Kingdom of this world shall be come the Kingdom of God and of His Christ. The bowl judgments are the last of Gods judgments and are the judgments that plunge of the beasts kingdom into darkness as the beasts reign will be cut short for the sake of Gods elect-(Those who obey Gods commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus). So form the 5th trumpet to the 7th trumpet will be the days the beast is in this world. In the end they are overthrown by Jesus and the armies of heaven that follow Him. Rev 16:15 The great battle of God Almighty. If you can't tell I don't hold to a pretrib rapture though I am premil. I do hold that those left alive AT the return of the Lord, (2nd coming), will be caught up into the air on that last day and clothed with new bodies, (immortality) , as flesh and blood can't inherit the "forever" kingdom God promised to those who love Him.

Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18

and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. 1 John 4:3

Both of these scriptures put the antichrist as coming [future].

Paul teaches a figure who will go to the Temple of God, as Messiah, and deceive many.

Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

Man of sin who is revealed by going to the temple, and exalts himself as God in the temple...

  • This man of sin, or lawless one will be destroyed personally by Jesus Christ, by the brightness of His coming.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:8

This man of sin, lawless one, son of perdition, false messiah, which is another way of saying "antichrist" will be alive on earth when Jesus Christ returns.

That certainly makes him a "Future antichrist", as John says... as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming.

2 Thessalonians could very well reflect the meaning in Isaiah 14:14, where satan exalts himself above God.
The Temple of God is within us.
There are those already exalting themselves to be God.
2 Thessaslonians 2:9a;
"The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of satan...".

I just don't see anywhere in Scripture that another Temple is built.
That Temple has already been built within us.

The temple of God is not within us. The Spirit of Christ is in us and in that the "body" is referred to as a temple of the HS. I think the scripture is clear on the matter. The AC will declare himself god in the temple of God. Rev 11 uses similar language in regard to a temple. Regardless the name of the false prophet was not given to the church and therefore is unknown at this time.

The temple of God by who's declaration? A bunch of spiritually blinded Jews? lol

Where does it mention the building of a physical 3rd Temple?

Not the building, but the existence of the 3rd Temple is mentioned in 2 Thess 2:4. In order to exist, it must first be built, and as a matter of fact, preparations in Israel are well under way for this to happen. Check the Temple Institute website.

So what? They will regard it as the Temple of God, and that's all that matters in connection with this prophecy. While they were desecrating the Temple of Solomon with idols, they still regarded it as the Temple of God.

I answered that already but you don't listen.
And if you don't listen to me, then how can I answer you?

Where does it mention the building of a physical 3rd Temple?
It doesn't. They'd have to get New Word from God to do so. Unlikely to receive legitimate permissions. God destroyed the last one by Divine Intentions. I doubt He'll be interested in another run at it.

So what? They will regard it as the Temple of God,

That certainly doesn't mean that it IS,

nor is that what Paul is referring to in Thess. anyway. We already know that our bodies are the temple of God and that determination isn't going to move.

Well said but will probably have to be said many more times before this thread is over.

I had to deprogram myself from too many end time novels that couldn't stand up to the weight of scriptures. A couple of the false postures that had to go were another brick and mortar job and a flesh man as "thee" anti-Christ. Particularly the last one. It's a waste of time bothering to look that direction or to wait for those things to happen.

Titus 3:2
To speak evil of no man,

Acts 10:28
And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

And love your neighbor as yourself cured me on it, in finality.

If I want to reconnoiter the anti-Christ spirit all I have to do is hit my thumb with a hammer.
